Holiday Cheer

Hi bloggers! Happy Saturday to you! I’m pleased to welcome back guest designer Pamela Ho! Isn’t this card design too cute? I must confess, as silly as it may sound I don’t get into FULL holiday mode until the day after Thanksgiving, HOWEVER, this sweet design made me smile, and I love the CAS design which gets me motivated to mass produce them sooner rather than later.

Enjoy!

With Christmas coming soon, I wanted to create a simple Christmas card using my SSS and Paper Smooches stamps.  I first stamped the dog from Circle Friends and the little hat from My Peeps, colored it with Copics and watercolor pencils and cut it out.  I stamped the sentiment as a ground for the dog and wanted to give a flower frame to complete the card.  Using various flower stamps from Paper Smooches, I used a Christmas color palette – red, green and gold – for the flowers and leaves.  I love how these flowers can work for different occasions depending on the color palette you use!
