Hello Little Prince
Hi readers! Happy Saturday to you! I’m pleased to bring you this sweet card inspiration by Lawn Fawn’s own Chari Moss! Have you gotten a chance to peruse the new Summer Lawn Fawn collection? I have recently “rediscovered” my colored pencils by using gamsol to blend the colors. I really love the soft look that I can get using pencils instead of markers, which is perfect for baby cards! So naturally it is a perfect fit to color the images in Lawn Fawn’s new Hello Baby set with colored pencils. For this card I colored the cute little frog prince with colored pencils blended with gamsol and used the coordinating Lawn Cuts dies to cut him out. I stamped out the background scene on a white panel and popped up the frog with some foam adhesive. I used a green Lawn Fawndamentals notecard as my base and added some Spearmint card stock along the bottom cut with the Stitched Scallop border die. I finished it off with some lemon twine and two little tone on tone hearts along the bottom.
