Happy Trails

Hi readers! Happy Sunday to you! I hope you’re having a fun & relaxing weekend :) I love this sweet card that Kelly Alvarez made for us today using new releases from Lawn Fawn! Have you heard of GLAMPing? I feel like it’s a trend that’s really catching on! I thought of this when I saw Kelly’s card. I have a feeling my friends and I might go on a Glamping adventure this year! What about you?

Hello, everyone! I am so excited to be back with a fun and happy card! I stamped and colored Lawn Fawn’s new Happy Trails set, and I wanted a way to frame that cute camper image. That is where the new #awesome die came in to play. This die does coordinate with the stamp set, but it also works well on it’s own, too! I thought the grey Let’s Polka tiny dot would be great for the frame.

To create the sky and ground, I used a finger dauber with Distress Ink. I used a die cut cloud from Bon Voyage to create the sky. You can see how I did that in this video, and I just free hand cut a hill from a post it to create the ground!

I decided to stamp a “thanks” from Many Thanks on some blue striped paper to coordinate with the blue touches on the camper. I love that so many different sentiments could work well with this card!

A big thank you to Simon for having me today! Have a wonderful day!

  1. Cute card! My camping experiencing were in a canvas-top tent trailer (a real tent on wheels!). I might try glamping now in a LF trailer. ;-)

  2. Just love the lawn fawn stamps with matching dies, Your card is super cute and I like all the polka dots.

  3. I’ve had more than my share of ‘real’ camping, thank you, but glamping…well, that’s a different story. That I’d do! This little trailer looks like a sweet glamping accommodation to me! Thanks for the creativity and give-away opportunity!

  4. I went camping ONCE and that was enough for me.
But I do love that camper stamp and how the card was made.
Thank you for sharing with us….

  5. Cute card! I hadn’t heard of “glamping” but that sounds like more my style. I used to go “camping” in my younger years, but I’m all about “glamping”.
