Halloween Treats with Shari!
Hi everyone and welcome back to the blog.
Even though my kids are grown I still enjoy creating holiday goodies. I have a few friends with elementary school age children and these will be PERFECT for them. Start with some Steel Grey Cardstock, a great Simon Says Stamp Die, some dots of paint Simon Says Stamp Halloween Flair and of course a bit of candy…before you know it you have yourself a goodie bag for special kids at Halloween!
Use the Circle Card Die to create a window.
Add some Simon Says Stamp Halloween Flair for a little fright factor. And color some Crinkle Ribbon with Dusty Concord Distress Paint for a fun topper.
Use the left over cut out to create an additional mini card.
I’ve shot a video to show how they all come together.
Do you create special treats at Halloween? I’d love to hear about them.
Enjoy the day!
oh my these are just too cute.. fun idea.. thanks for sharing..
These are really cute Shari. But no we don´t celebrate HAlloween here, so we don´t make all these things either, I´m afraid.
These bags are really pretty and funny. Thanks for sharing.
OMG this is AWESOME Shari !!

Oh, my goodness – cutest treat bags EVER!!! So adorable, Shari! Thanks for this fun idea! :)
Such a fun treat bag! I’m thinkin’ I need to get me more distress paints….love how they pop on the dark colored cardstock.
So cute! My girls are grown but I love to wrap up small gifts for any holiday and give handmade tags that they can repurpose too.
what a great idea for this die! Thank you for sharing.
Such a great way to use this die looking good. We don’t have halloween here in the netherlands so I don’t know about special treats.
Love this, lovely bags!
These are so fun! I love Halloween! No trick or treaters here since we live in a rural area, but I used to take my daughter out trick or treating when she was young.
Love this idea Shari! I make sugar cookies and candies using fun molds. This would be a great way to package them! I love your projects and your videos. I learn lots from you!
Really cute :) I am afraid to make anything for my daughter’s class, it seems like everyone is allergic to something these days. Maybe I should look online for some healthy treats!
Adorable for any holiday!
What cute treat bags…I may just have to make some for the grandkids treats. I think maybe this year I will make them some shortbread cookies cut into pumpkin and bat shapes.
Love your cute treat bags! I appreciate your video, it was very helpful.
