Glitter + Stencil Technique

Steph4

Hi there! Happy Monday, everyone!  I’m really excited to share this amazing new technique Jennifer McGuire tried using stencils and glitter.  I think the outcome is absolutely stunning and could be so versatile based on the stencil you used! This Ocean Spray glitter color that Jennifer uses in the cards is one of my favorites!

Be sure to watch Jennifer’s entire video below to grasp the full technique, and enjoy!

  1. Stunning cards!!! This technique looks fun and easy!! Can’t wait to try it out for myself1 Jennifer M. does no wrong in my paper crafting books. Love her work and inspiration.

  2. Really great technique. I wonder if you could use the same technique to apply two colors of embossing powder to a stencil.

  3. Beautiful cards, love the velvet looking background. Video is very easy to follow. Love the way you glittered those die cut words.

  4. Jennifer has done it again! Out of the ballpark on this one! Love the colors she used and the clean lines! And of course anything with glitter has to be spectacular!

  5. What beautiful cards! OHHH I LOVE glitter. Thank you for the video and showing how it’s done.
I have to try this. I love the colors.
Jennifer’s cards are always so beautiful.

  6. More stenciling techniques and two beautiful cards! I can’t stop stenciling ever since I took the wonderful Stenciled class. Now I just need the adhesive paper….

  7. Love the cards Jennifer made. I have so many brass stencils that I need to pull out and see what I can do with them.

  8. WOWOWOWOWOW!! LOVING the look of the Gitter!! I think this is so pretty and will totally be giving it a Try!! THANKS for sharing all of the helpful tips too so we don’t have to be disappointed with the results/technique and waste our products!! Have a Fabulous Week!! ;)

  9. The glitter does not need a lot of extra embellishing around it. It looks great – so plain and simple.

  10. I am off to play with my glitter. I have tons of glitter but I always get discouraged because of all the mess it makes. I can’t believe how easy and permanent this technique is – thank you for sharing!

  11. I love the colors in this card! And the fact that you can make two cards vs one is a total bonus!
