Fabulous ideas for custom textured backgrounds! I’ve seen the tracing wheel tool before but had no idea of its purpose. I’ll definitely need to get one of those.
The purpose of a tracing wheel is for duplicating sewing patterns. Every seamstress has one.
Clever idea with beautiful results. I need to check in my sewing supplies because I’m sure I still have a tracing wheel from years ago! :)
Gorgeous cards. The video was inspiring and full of great tips and techniques. My old tracing wheel is going to have a new purpose now. Thanks Gina.
These really add to the cards!
I really apppreciated this video! Thanks!
Beautiful creations, thanks for the video showing how to use scoreboard tool to create backgrounds!
??? these cards. The stamps are beautiful as are these backgrounds. Well done as always Gina!
This is a good reminder to use my embossing folders. I like how she inked them.
Fantastic cards. Great tips. Thank you.
I love this look!! So easy and Awesome results!!! Beautiful cards!!!
This is BRILLIANTLY INCREDIBLE technique, Gina! I think I have a tracing wheel in my sewing box! Haven’t used it in years so need to pull it out! TFS
Great techniques!! You always do an outstanding tutorial.
Guess who threw away their tracing wheel last week! Fabulous techniques & video. Thank you Gina!
thank you Gina – great techniques for masculine cards – thanks for sharing
Thanks for the awesome ideas Gina, going to have to get out
my Scor board and my tracing wheel, I used to sew so I most certainly have one or more!
Great video explaining these techniques.
Wow! Love these ideas! Just found my tracing wheel in my sewing box! I’m definitely giving this technique a try! Your cards are gorgeous!
The look of stitching is always so stunning.
I would never have thought to use a tracing wheel to make backgrounds. But it is super cool! I love the effect. I am going to have to see if I have one in my sewing kit that I never use! (too busy making cards to sew.) Thanks for the video and awesome inspiration. Your cards are fabulous.
I love those backgrounds! :) They really add a lot of interest to the cards.
I love this background technique. I should have watched your video earlier. The day started dreary with clouds and fog, and when I went up to my craft room I couldn’t get inspired. Now I can’t wait to get back up there and try this. Your cards are beautiful.
Great video instuction. Like this idea for an easy to create background incorporating a tool most only use in sewing. A great way to color match.
I used this technique years ago but never uses ink on top of it, that’s awesome!
Thanks Gina for this great reminder of the technique and the extra tip about the ink on top. Have a great day.
Love these awesome techniques & your cards are absolutely gorgeous! Love that weathered wood look!
These are very cool! I love the stitched backgrounds; such a fun look that makes you wonder how it was done!
Thanks for sharing such great ways to create dimensional backgrounds.
I´ve never thought of a Tracing Wheel for creating backgrounds. This Looks like a very fun free style technique.
