Gift idea! Tiny Prints Hello There Card Box Set

Hi friends! Happy Saturday! We’re delighted to welcome back special guest Cheiron Brandon with this feminine and gorgeous card design that is perfect for quick mass-producing to product the most lovely gift box set! Be sure to read on for all the details and enjoy!

Hi there! It’s Cheiron Brandon and I am so happy to sharing a fun floral card with you today using the newest Tiny Prints stamps from Tim Holtz. It would be super fun to make an entire set of these in different colorways as a gift.

To begin, I stamped the Tiny Prints stamp onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Distress Archival Ink in Faded Jeans, since we are going to watercolor on the panel. I dried the ink with my heat tool and then colored in the leaves and flowers with Distress Inks in Rusty Hinge and Crushed Olive by pressing them onto my glass mat, spraying with water using a Distress Sprayer and picking up the ink with a detailer waterbrush.

Once my panel was dry, I cut the Hello There from the Bold Text 1 dies. I added some tape to the back of the panel to keep my letters in. I also cut the Hello there from white cardstock, and Idea-ology card stock. I layered the white letters over the floral, and then added the Idea-ology Kraft stock to give them lots of dimension.

I can’t wait to make an entire set of these fun floral cards with all different sentiments!

  1. Sorry I’m being so dense…but you lost me when you started die-cutting the sentiment. Did you die cut the letters from the panel you’d just watercolored? And then die cut from the other materials you specified…and then stacked them for dimension? Did the floral die cut end up in the middle of the stack? Thx in advance for your reply.

    1. Hi Pat. I die cut the letters from the floral panel but added tape to the back and put them back in place to use as a “template”. I stacked the orange letters over the floral letters I already put back in the cut out spots. Since I already had adhered the floral panel down before I stacked my letters they peeked through the orange letters. I hope that is a little bit clearer. Cheiron :)
