Funny Friday with Art Impressions: Stretching Stamps + Mini Slimline Card!
Hello friends, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you! Welcome back to another Funny Friday with Art Impressions! We’re going to “stretch” our stamps across a mini slimline card for a unique and fun design.
This playful Koalas set has this sweet koala in a pair of tea cups. I thought he was so cute and would be even funnier if I stacked him higher on the tea cups! That of course required a little more height than a standard A2 card, which inspired me to make this a mini slimline design! Mini slimline cards are becoming extremely popular. Side note if you missed it – we now carry mini slimline envelopes at Simon Says Stamp! I’ll be using a Lemon Chiffon envelope when I mail this card. :)
Behind my stack of koala and tea cups, I ink blended the I Like Big Dots and Slimline Falling Snow stencils for some texture. The Distress Oxide ink colors I used include the new Kitsch Flamingo, as well as Wild Honey, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet.

This is too Stinkin’ Adorable!!!!
I love your card and it shows that you can think out of the box and create something other than the stamp design. Your stacked cups were so cute and colorful. Art Impressions makes such cute stamps. There is always something for everyone. So, what is the size of the mini slimline? Maybe you said that in your video but I missed it.
Adorable card Nina! Thanks for a spot of humor with out tea!
