Funny Friday: Creating a Box Card
Welcome everyone! I’ve got a fun box card idea for you featuring an adorable Gramma surfing on her ironing board from the Art Impressions “Loads of Fun” clear stamps set.
The box card allows you to use your focal point image on the inside but also remains clearly visible from the outside. In this case, it looks like Gramma has abandoned her iron for some fun!
I cut and scored the box card (template below) then die cut a 3.5″ circle on the front section. I stamped Gramma on the inside flap and colored her with some bright Copic Markers. I also stamped the iron off the edge of the circle and once again on scrap cardstock. Then I colored and cut out the iron and used a bit of foam tape for a little lift.
The beauty of this card is that it folds completely flat and fits inside a regular A2 envelope. A win-win!! A cute Surfing Gramma, a Fun Fold, perfect for Funny Friday!!! Enjoy!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

What a fun card! The coloring is gorgeous and I love the box style. I love Art Impressions — we “seniors” can relate to so many of them! I have a set (with a skate boarding grandma) that includes that sentiment. Now I need the Loads of Fun set.
