Floral Bliss POP of Distress Oxide Color!
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Thanks for popping by today! We’re here with a much needed POP of color during this harsh winter in Ohio! What is the weather like in your neighborhood? Kelly Latevola achieved this look by combining some watercoloring with Distress Oxide inks and stamped our fabulous Floral Bliss stamps. Some color shading was added with Copic Markers and the look was finished with a sentiment and some sequins. Be sure to watch the video, and enjoy!

Beautiful card
Gorgeous card!
I love how you used the stamp back to back, clever idea! And such a beautiful stamp! Beautiful card and I love the colors you picked and I’m in Maryland so I totally understand how you feel. I think you’ve gotten more snow then us, but we’ve gotten those feels like minus degree days and I have Fibromyalgia so it just makes things worse. My boys are down in Wilmington, NC and I’m so jealous. We thought about moving there 2 years ago when we sold our house, but decided to stay here to be closer to all of my doctors even though we wanted to be closer to our kids. It’s always a tough decision. I feel for you. Thanks for sharing .
Your card is beautiful! We are waiting for your warm front to get to us. It was -12 this morning, but is supposed to get in the mid 20’s tomorrow and by Friday 40! Heat Wave in Southeast Minnesota! Aren’t Moms the best? I miss mine so much!
Gorgeous!!

GORGEOUS card!! Love any card that’s done in rainbow colors and the sequins add just the right touch of sparkle!
SO GORGEOUS, Kelly!!! LOOOVE what you’ve done with this! AND your story is interesting too. We aren’t travelers either. We don’t venture far from home. We’re comfortable in our own space! ;)PLUS, where we live is BEAUTIFUL!!! ;) I was JUST telling my husband just how thankful I was for where we live, & the warmth of our own home, as the snow came down heavily yesterday. ;)(I don’t like cold weather either.) ;)LOOOOOVE your work!!
I love this cool watercolor card–it’s gorgeous!
Oh Kelly, you make me laugh!!!! The card is beautiful, I have this stamp set and wasn’t liking what I was coming up with, so I will try your design.
Your card is beautiful. If you can believe it we are experiencing snow for the second time this year and I am in southern Louisiana. It never snows here, it hardly gets below 50. This is a cold winter.
This looks absolutely fantastic! Love it!
Just beautiful!! I love this so much. Such a wonderful array of color, love the use of the copics to really bring it to life!
Hahaha you had me rolling, I can so relate to this story and your luck traveling. First met my hubby after 23 years after high school, have known him all my life. Go to the San Francisco ocean and wanted a pic of wave breaking at my feet…not….the wave came over the top of me I landed on my hand’s and knee’s face down in the sand and just laughed. Great first impressions gotta love them. Your card turned out beautiful.
Beautiful card with beautiful coloring from Kelly. She is inspiring to watch. I love this technique of laying down the background and then adding more color to make the design pop!
Yeowza! I’m in looooove!!
Love this
One of my favorites–stunningly beautiful!
Stunning project. TFS
Beautiful card, absolutely love the colours! A stunning piece, thanks for the inspiration!
Such a cheerful card with all the color.
I watched your video this morning. You are so very talented. You took the jumble of colors and turned it into a masterpiece with the markers and pen for highlighting. Knowing what colors to use is amazing. Then using the grey and black to emphasized and shadow made the images really pop while relating a funny story. Not only are you artistic but you can do several things at one time! I’m one that can’t chew gum and walk at the same time!
Watching you coloring is such an enjoyment !! I LOVE the organic look of watercolor and I love your story !
Thank you for sharing !!
Beautiful card. The color are vibrant. Thanks for sharing…
