Faux Metal & Sanded Dry Embossing

For today’s card, I wanted to try out sanding dry embossing again. You’ll remember I did a card similar to this a while back, where I also used a sanding block to take the edge off a dry embossed image. The Hero Arts layering papers are perfect for this because of the color being only on one side of the paper.

I also did some faux metal on this card with the stamp. If you’re familiar with heat embossing, the faux metal technique is super simple. You only need a metallic embossing powder, VersaMark ink, a heat tool, and a stamp. You could even use white embossing powder for a more porcelain look instead of metal. :)
