Fancy Pants FUN is in the bag!
Hi Bloggers! Happy Sunday to you! I’m excited to share with you a tutorial from the awesome Jodi Sanford! With super cute bags like this, receiving a gift card, cash, or a little sweet something is suddenly much more fun! Check out more details and close ups below! Enjoy!
Hello Simon Says Stamp Fans! It’s Jodi— I’m the Owner and Creative Director of Fancy Pants Designs! I’m so excited to be here again to share Fancy Pants Designs’ latest collections with all of you! I wanted to share with you one of our fun, yet simple new products (along with three amazing collections): our glassine and kraft bag sets! These are one of my favorite new products, especially this time of year! We are always giving little gifts throughout the year and especially during the holidays, so I thought it would be great to create a unique package for even the simplest of gifts (think gift cards, cash, etc.)! It makes those more ‘boring’ gifts (that teenagers and adults love to get :)) all the more rewarding and thoughtful!
The first Bag is using our Merry Little Christmas Collection and one of our Kraft Bags. I love the vintage pieces in this line…especially that cute Santa Claus adding personality to the bag! For this one, I added some dimensional adhesives and embellishments (see those cute mini brush trees–they are awesome…my favorite holiday embellishment to date)! This bag is pretty flat and is holding some cash inside…along with a little note (from our Titles Pieces) that adds a special touch. Plus, I personalized it with a name from our 12×12 Fundamental Stickers! Top that off with one of our cute patterned clothespins and you’ve got a great little gift in no time! You can see the complete supply list below.
For my second bag, I used our Collecting Moments Collection and one of our Glassine Bags! This bag is fun because you can see inside to the bag contents! I included an iTunes gift card in there, but used pieces from our Ephemera Pack to create a cute look that coordinated with the bag and added a little ‘confetti’ feel, all while hiding the gift card inside! I love all the different pieces, like the buttons, resin flowers and flair that we are able to offer with our collections…they all add just the right touch of texture and dimension to projects!
The final bag in this set is one of the Kraft bags filled with some mini candy bars—a great little ‘Thank You’ gift for a friend, neighbor or family member! So simple, but so nice! This bag features our Happy Go Lucky collection–awesome colors for this time of year and super fun designs! I also used one of our new Wood Phrase piece to make this pop…I love the finished look–add the clothespin here and you’re done! I hope you’ve enjoyed these little gift giving ideas and that you’re inspired to create some of your own during the upcoming holidays!
