Falling for You

Hi readers! Happy Wednesday to you! I hope you’re enjoying your week! I just got back from visiting a much warmer part of the country, and while I loved my time in the sun, I’m happy to return home and await my most FAVORITE season of the year: Autumn.  What’s your favorite season?

I’m pleased to welcome Lawn Fawn guest designer Nancy Krueger to our blog with this great card using brand NEW Lawn Fawn products coming very soon and available for Pre-Order now!

When I first saw the new Sweater Weather stamp set I knew I wanted to make this card. I thought it would be so fun to create a “changing of the seasons” panel with the Falling for You sentiment. It was so simple to stamp the leaves with the multiple leaves stamp and the single leaf using summer to fall ink colors. I blended on a bit of Tumbled Glass Distress ink in the background and some Mowed Lawn Distress ink to ground the trees. I rounded the corners of the the panel with my Corner Chomper then popped it up on my card base covered with pretty Sweater Weather paper. Green Sparkle Lawn Trimmings is the perfect finishing touch.

Thanks for reading today and thanks to Nancy for this fabulous inspiration!
