Hi friends! Happy Saturday! Please join me in welcoming back special monthly guest Cathy Zielske as a special guest on our blog! Read on, and be sure to watch the video for all the details. Enjoy!
Hi everyone, it’s Cathy Zielske back with another installment of EZ with CZ! Today I’m creating a card with a single shape opening from one stencil and building a fun rainbow pattern. You can do this with any sort of shape stencil, or you can even take a shape dye, cut it out of some card stock, and use that as a stencil.
Building a pattern with a single shape, is a really easy way to create a graphic, fun look for any card project. Simply pick a rainbow of your favorite colors and get to blending! I used the Simon Says Stamp Modern Postage Stamp Edges and Rectangles stencil, and I love the edges on the shapes.
Once my pattern was done, I trimmed down the panel a little bit and stamped a greeting from my CZ Design Hi There stamp set. Here’s the video to show you how easy this is to do:
And there you have it. Grab a stencil with a shape and start blending a pattern today. I’ll see you back here next month!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and thanks to Cathy for being our guest!
