So easy! Ink Blended Stencil Cards with Kristina Werner
Hello, all! Happy Wednesday! Kristina Werner here with two holiday cards! I used the new Large Chevron stencil set, Amelia Snowflake die, and the Glistening Snowflakes and Simple Holiday Greetings stamp sets to create these colorful cards.
I used a few different Pawsitively Saturated ink colors on my cards. On the first card, I used Cherry, Guava, Flannel, Pine, and Pearfection. On the second card, I used Morning, Twilight, Galaxy, and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder for the fourth color.
For the first card, the large tree shape of snowflakes in the Glistening Snowflakes stamp set fits perfectly inside the triangle shape of the Large Chevron stencil design! So I slipped my cardstock inside the stencil to ink blend a bright green area for my “snowflake tree”. And then the a single-line greeting from Simple Holiday Greetings fits inside one of the stripe areas.
Moving onto my second card, I diecut the Amelia Snowflake die three times out of white cardstock, and once out of white glitter cardstock, and then adhered them together to create a thick element for my card. I also created my own DIY colored cardstock for my greeting by swiping the Galaxy ink pad across white cardstock.

Gorgeous cards! Love them both, Kristina!! This is an easy technique. I can see that I should have added this stencil set to my cart. Next time! TFS –

Great cards. I never would have thought to see if the snowflake tree worked with this stencil but, now that I know it does, I’m even happier I picked up this stencil set. Thanks!
