Double Ink Blending with Kristina Werner

Hello, all! Kristina Werner here. Today I have a fun and colorful card for you featuring two layers of blending, or double ink blending!

I started out my blending five colors of Gina K Designs ink using blender brushes. Then I placed the Reverse Hearts stencil over the blending, and blended even more! This created two layers of blending, and leaves behind an awesome pattern!

To finish off this simple card, I stamped the “Today Will Be Awesome” greeting from the Greetings Mix 1 stamp set in black ink. Then I drew a black border around the greeting using a T-square ruler.

And that’s it! A super rainbow ink blended card! Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Kristina this card is fabulous! I love the look of blending on top of the blending for the hearts. I really like the boarder you created. I would never have thought to create my own boarder before. I really like how you can make cards with limited supplies and add some of your own handwriting or personal design touches such as this border to your cards. I learn so much from watching your video’s!

  2. Doubly beautiful… great technique and I definitely will give this a try. I have a couple of all over stencils that I think this would work well with. Nicely done!

  3. Love stencils and love this blending technique and love anything with hearts. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. My single layer cards always look kinda blah. There’s nothing blah about this beauty, and I almost think I could do this! That frame adds so much, but that part may be out of my comfort zone! Love it!
