Hi readers! Happy Wednesday to you! I hope you’re having a fabulous week, and if you’re a “mid-westerner” or perhaps even along the east coast, I hope you’re staying warm. :) I’m pleased to welcome back Jocelyn Olson to our blog to share us some fun & cute boxes, tags, & bags featuring Paper Smooches products that we can make to make holiday gift giving even more fun!

Enjoy!

With the holidays right around the corner, I’ve been thinking about fun ways to wrap presents. Armed with some Paper Smooches stamps and dies, I went to work creating some coordinating packaging.

Not long ago, I bought the We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board. It’s a great tool to quickly make a variety of boxes (and quick is good when it comes to wrapping!). There’s no die-cutting or gluing, just scoring and folding. I used the Webster’s Pages All That Glitters paper pack and vellum to make the boxes and tags.

Once I had the boxes made, I made three corresponding tags. I couldn’t stop, so I made an extra tag with the little gingerbread man. All of the stamps and dies are from Paper Smooches.

The Paper Smooches Numbers dies are perfect for a December Daily, Advent calendar, or for birthdays. I didn’t have any matching cardstock, so I die-cut the numbers out of white cardstock and blended Distress Ink on the numbers. I die-cut the Poinsettia die out of felt to add some texture.

I created my own tag by using the Scalloped Circle die and simply punching a hole through the vellum. I added some glitter to the edges of the Large Snowflake die.

The new Gift Tags dies are perfect for different box sizes. I used the largest die for this tag, and added the adorable Cool Dudes snowman.

  1. I’ve been making my own tags since I was in my teens. Let’s just say I wore bell bottoms the first time they were in style . =/

  8. These are adorable. Making Christmas tags is probably my favourite Christmas craft…just mentioning that I think you’ve got the picture of the gift bag punch board on your site instead of the gift box punch board…(I don’t own either – just have the envelope one so far but I was checking the price and the picture is for the bag board…)
