DIY Lucky Theme Shimmery Stenciled Card Perfect for Sharing with a Friend: Crafty with Caly

Hi friends! Happy Saturday! We’re delighted to welcome back special bi-monthly guest Caly Person to our blog with this super fun card design perfect for the March month and beyond! Be sure to watch the video for all the details and enjoy!

Hi there! I’m sharing a card with lots of shimmer and shine today to celebrate March! The Lucky Horseshoe set features a floral horseshoe and is a great focal point. It comes with lots of fun sentiments too!
I started out by stenciling a background using the Pony Love Stencil. I ink-blended it with Celery Ink and Pearfection Ink for a gradient and then applied Luna Paste for an iridescent shine. While that sat to dry, I worked on the next step.

I stamped and colored the Lucky Horseshoe with Copic markers.
Copics:
- Hearts: R20, R22, R24
- Horseshoe: Y00, Y11, Y15, YR23
- Pink Flowers: R81, R83, R85
- Purple Flowers: V000, V01, V04
- Blue Flowers: B01, B05

I adhered the Lucky Horseshoe to the stenciled background with foam squares and then adhered the sentiments. The Fancy Lucky is made using one layer of Matte Gold Cardstock and two layers of white cardstock. The shadow is die-cut with vellum.

For the sub-sentiment, I used a sentiment strip from the Reverse Lucky Sentiment Strips set. Then to finish off my card, I added a few Clear Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
I hope you enjoyed this! Thanks so much for visiting! ~Caly
