diecember-release_927-reveal-01

Hi friends! Are you ready for a very special blog hop celebrating our latest release? Let’s celebrate die cutting this DieCember(TM)!

Today’s blog hop is loaded with inspiration from the following awesome designers.  I hope you’ll take a moment to stop by their blogs and see what they’ve created for you today!  Every stop on the hop has a $25 gift card up for grabs.  Including this one!  Just leave a comment letting us know what you’d like to see us do to celebrate Diecember together.  The most creatively clever idea will win a $25 shopping spree (as determined by our Simon Says Stamp Home office – WE LOVE hearing from you and your fun ideas!)

Below are the newly released exclusive dies just for you!

Thanks for stopping by today!  We really appreciate your support!  HAPPY HAPPY FRI-YAY!!!!!

  1. Fun blog hop! I think it woudl be fun to celebrate by getting suggestions of unlikely pairings of stamp sets or dies, and seeing what the designers can come up with to make them work together!

  2. I feel like using dies elevate my projects, but they are time-consuming. I would like to see your design team do a 10-minute (or another specified time) cardmaking challenge. They would have a running clock and do an entire card using die cuts from start to finish. Thanks for the giveaway! I can’t wait to order new dies!

  3. How to celebrate December together? Doing what you’re doing now…having the designers share what they created. Maybe, at another time, have customers, such as myself, share what we’ve created with the same dies.

  4. I would love to see a card done in the style of a small-is (maybe four page) book. I’ve seen cards from the 60s and 70s like that and would love to see you make one!

  5. I’m excited about this hop. I’ve recently got hooked with SSS dies and I’m already putting some of these faves in my wishlist. I would love to see you guys use the dies, cutting in with materials other than paper.

  6. I would like to see how to get more use from my dies. Maybe have each designer create several projects using the same die. Possibly showcasing different seasons and or occasions, different projects (cards, tags, mixed media).
    Thanks for a great release!

  7. FABULOUS HOP SSS! NOW, it’s hard to tell Santa, “I WANT IT ALL!!!” LOL (But, I DO!) I LOOOOVE DIECEMBER & seeing what everyone does with all the goodies! SUPER JOB EVERYONE!! :D

  8. All of the dies are fabulous! The blog hoppers did a great job of showcasing many of them and making me want them!

  9. I think it would be fun to have multiple designers collaborate on a single card – kind of like a progressive dinner. Each designer adds one new element to a card.

  10. Such a great release! Love that circle leaves die. And that birch column. And the frames. And the… well, you get the idea. :-)

  11. What an amazing release!
As for a creative idea…This is something myself and my four sisters have done:
We each started with a card base (colour and size of our own choosing.) We each did ONE thing to the card and mailed it on to the next person. They did ONE thing to the card and mailed it on to the next person, and so on. (We did our rotation in birth order to keep it straight.) By the time you got your own card back, it was finished. It was fun to see how it ended up. Now I realize it would be more challenging with 15 people but you could break it down into 3 groups, unless you really wanted to challenge yourselves with 15 participants. LOL

  12. These dies are all fabulous! I would love to see a variety of techniques with dies all in one post/video.

  13. One die seven ways! I can think of two or three different ways to use a die off the top of my head, let’s challenge ourselves even more!

  14. Thanks for the blog hop… and thanks for the fabulous new die collection. I love dies. Let’s celebrate Diecember with lots of inspiration and tutorials!

  15. I’d like to see a blog hop that features each die done by each person in the hop done in 4 different ways, whether it’s a particular technique or material – that part I’d leave up to them. This would be a great way to show us how to really stretch our dies.

  16. I would love to see the due cuts used in an unconventional way. Fabric banner bunting made solely with diecuts. Advent calendar made with burlap cut from due cuts. Ornaments made from due cuts. Thanks for the chance!

  17. I have no better idea to celebrate than the sharing of something you enjoy. Thank you for all the beautiful card ideas.

  18. Great hop. I love the Corbel heart. I purchased the tree and ornament. I like the border, too. PLEASE……….come out with an A2 size Corbel die. That would be so pretty. Thanks again for the hop.

  19. Thanks for an amazing hop with such fabulous inspiration! I’d love to see one die a day used by all the different designers to see how many ways they can use it differently.

  20. This is such a good idea. Makes me glad I signed up for your blog. So far, from looking at your dies my favourites are the Birch Trees and the Circle Vine. I haven’t been able to find where to comment on each artists work yet, so I will try again.

I can’t suggest a better idea than what you have presented here. I did pay a lot more attention to the creations that had a video with them and those videos made me like some dies I hadn’t expected to like. Good job.

  21. Awesome dies! I think you guys are doing a great job prompting these dies and inspiring us but maybe you could do a video tutorial where you showcased 1 or 2 dies each day (a few different things you can do with the die) and maybe have it live so we can do it along with and ask questions as we go. Thered be a list of supplies ahead of time including sizes of paper needed so we could have that ready ahead

  22. Fantastic new release!I adore dies, they add so much to every project! My favorite ones from this release are the birch tree and the spinner trail.
Now about the creative idea suggestion…well, personally I think that people are more creative when they have limited supplies. So I would challenge your design team to create things using items from the new release but with limited supplies. (That could probably make it more realistic for loads of people out there who cannot afford to buy loads of supplies but would like to invest on a few pieces and try to stretch them as much as possible – like most of us do)
Thank you very much for the blog hop and the inspiration, as well as the giveaway!Have a good day everyone!
