  3. I think it would be good to show how to use the new (and older) dies for household decor, gifts, gift bags, gift wrap, etc. Basically to show how to stretch your dies beyond card making. Love the new dies!

  4. Thank you, Heidi, for being so generous with everyone! This blog hop is really fun with amazing designers! I love your quick idea videos so keep those coming please.?

This new release is really awesome! I would love to see how realize romantic projects for the next Valentine’s Day and/or for wedding favours and ornaments.

  6. I would love to see some creative matchbox-style projects incorporating the new window dies! That would be fun! :)

  7. wow, Simon says stamps does it all. but I wouldl love more of stamptmeber ideas. fabulous new stamps from all the great companies.

  8. Let’s have a crafting slumber party (like Blitsy does)! You’d need to set up a video stream and line up demonstrators—a lot of work, but fun!

  9. Love this release. I would like to see more things to do with paper crafting. Lori Whitlock and Lia Griffith type of things that you can use along with stamps and dies.

  10. When I look at all the diecember dies, I can picture a woodland scene using ALL the dies (in a shadow box frame) What a challenge it would be to use all the dies in one project and to make it look amazing. Love the new dies.

  11. I would love to see some creative ways to make tree ornaments, and maybe Some ides to preserve them. Love everything you guys do on a daily basis

  12. I love your dies and I wishes I could own all the items that I like…I wish that you can show us how to create items with dies and stamps that won’t wear out easily and we can really use them in daily life. Thank you for the hop!

  13. I love seeing more process videos! I’d like to learn more about using border dies to make cool backgrounds and getting the most out of basic shape dies.

  14. I would love to see the bloggers team up and share their creative talent with each other to design an amazing project or two. Each person would add one element to the project and then pass it to the next person for another element. It would take a little bit of planning but how fun would it be to see what they come up with!

  15. Thanks Heidi , I love all your dies and stamp. I am a new in cardmaking world. And I can not stopping buying from your product. I just had the framed brunch tree die and I fall in love with the new one two. What about making something active through a Facebook event (e.g) and we can vote for the best project that we can submit there. Or doing something like alphabetic challenge either from A to Z or use the alphabetic in a specific word. Your challenges in Wednesday and monday is amazing I was one of the lucky winner 4 month ago. But what a bout add a new little complicated challenge that really will challenge our mind and push our self from the comfy creation soon and thinking outside the box. You can do it like a serious every one with an a new different them or combined thems.you can make a challenge and showcase for the other uses of the stamps and dies in our daily life not only using them in our card. Like wrapping gifts, painting on mugs and glass , hwo creat fun with our kids and family etc.. I know that you show us these thing and you came with a great project. I learned too much from your DT and there amazing Videos. But I am talking about challenging us as a participant to use these lovely product that you offer in our daily life and I am sure that you will find Avery unique and creative entries from the whole world. You make something like use the stamp or die from some thing in your tradition or country themed . Sorry for my long comment , but I love your company ( I mean amazing peoples and products , etc.. ) and appreciate it too much. :)

  16. These dies are fabulous. I love the birch trees, the penguins, the scripted words, the windows, etc., all so great.

  17. How about a 3D challenge and/or blog hop … where dies could be used to make something that’s three dimensional, not flat like a card or picture … an item that stands or hangs on it’s own! Anita :)

  18. I’d like to see each designer create Christmas ornaments(s) and then see the completed tree with all their handmade creations. I’m sure it would be beautiful.

  19. With the new Birch Tree columns and Vines Oval window dies and the recent Birch Tree window die it would be nice to see some holiday ornaments made as dioramas for hanging or just on the mantle. So many sweet critter stamps available to make some lovely woodland scenes.

  20. I must say that Jennifer McGuire did a fantastic reveal of the Dececber die release…seeing each and every die actually die cut really makes such a difference! Also Jennifer gave s many great ideas and took the time to own the dies worked.
I also like how Debbie Huges had a link to show all the dies and prices at one time & of course her cards are always great.
Also I must say that I also just love what Jessica Frost , Sherri Carroll and tLisa Addesa created on their blogs.

  21. Since I’m mainly a card maker, that’s about as creative as I get with your dies. That said, I think that some would be perfect for ornaments and not just for Christmas. I have a twig tree that I decorate(mainly for my grandsons….not) for the different seasons, and I could use the dies to create decorations for the tree. Actually, it would be a fun day for us to create them together.

  22. Fun hop–I love the birch column die. As for ideas, I love technique videos showing different ways to use products to create new effects.

  23. great release my fav is the birch trees, I would love to come and visit the SSS HQ in an open day kinda event, i don;t know there there are such days, warehouse sales also fab…just wish I lived closer, but maybe your neighbours would love to see the behind the scenes too

  24. Another fun blog hop – you guys are so generous. I love card making, and find your blog and so many linked to it so inspirational. But I would love to see some kind of card or tag exchange, or a more done for home decor like ornaments or something like that.

  25. I would like to see how many dies you can get on a card to make it fun and busy. I love Christmas! Your Diecember products are so unique and awesome!

  26. You do a good job with Diecemeber as it is. Only thing that comes to mind is have a day on the blog that is chock full of helpful tips and techniques to make die cutting easier/simplier… releasing paper from the dies, storage suggestions, cutting thicker materials or specialty papers, etc., etc!

  27. I tell ya, dies are a weakness of mine & what a great release! I like them all and the streamer die looks very interesting! Can’t believe its DieCember again…

  28. So- not that original as I just read sort of the same idea I had been having. After months of drooling, this past summer I bought my favorite snowflake designed by Kristina Werner. I LOVE IT. Just this morning I cut four more out of metallic cardstock (cost is $1.99 a sheet at HL, I got it half-price, but still….) Anyway, those four were possibly only about #9, 10, aa and 12 of the times I have used that die since I’ve had it. It’s a beautiful die but hardly used, yet. It is so hard to release these tiny little elements. I used waxed paper. I have a Big Shot…I bought the precision cutting plate and my original acrylic pads are both warped and a mess. Running the die through makes cut patterns from the pad appear on the remaining paper- I guess I could cut a piece of card stock specific for each time I run the die through. I have a Tim Holtz poker tool to work it out of the die. So much difficulty. I took Kristina’s class on die cutting and I also own a Silhouette and sometimes I think it might be easier to cut with with the Silhouette. (After doing the Silhouette though- I usually don’t think so!) So- if you could do something like tips and tricks on dealing with dies, it would be really helpful. They aren’t cheap and I’d like to be able to use them more readily. I cannot imagine that even if I had a Vagabond I would have less trouble getting the paper to release from the die. I used to make candles and I had silicon release spray for my candle molds and I’m tempted to get something like that and see if the paper would release any better. I only bought a few dies because I keep telling myself “I have a Silhouette!” but some of these dies are so beautiful. I have a really intricate die of candles in a wreath with stained glass window in the back– I made exactly ONE CARD with that die-it took me 2-1/2 hours to fit different colors into the puzzle-like frame. Had to cut out all different colors and find the exact piece to fit in. (I actually bought the Big Shot for using embossing folders.) Maybe if someone could do a tutorial actually USING the dies and giving their hints and tips- that would be really helpful to me and probably to others. Usually- you see them go “off camera” and come back with the die cut image. Thanks for asking!

  29. What a wonderful release. A die that can be used for any occasion. The Birch die would have to be my favorite but after watching some of the other ladies, They are all really great and very useful.

  30. Maybe decorate the office with cards made with the die cuts and gather everyone together for Christmas carols! There are so many fun things in the release!

  31. What I love is what you are already doing – the blog hops that show so many ways to use the products. Many things to see how others look at your products. Sometimes I just don’t see the potential in an item until I see how someone else used it! Thanks much!

  32. Love the new dies. I would love to see more done with the dies and new products. New products come onto the market and I don’t know what to do with them so I don’t order them. There are so many great products and I often feel behind the curve with them.

  33. Hmmm how to celebrate Diecember, Share all the best techniques known to man in diecutting…Oh…how about a second release? LOL Or failing that how about me winning ALL the dies for this release? Yeah that would be an awesome way to celebrate Diecember!
