Today, I’m featuring some new tools that are ingenious in design and must haves for your crafty space!
Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky Mats

The Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky Mats are the perfect companion for cardmaking! They are a double sided tacky surface to hold paper in place while stamping or ink-blending.
Each tacky mat was designed to fit into the Misti Precision stamping tools. Use the tacky surface to hold your paper in place and the clear printed acetate sheet as an alignment guide for stamp placement. The tacky mat will replace the foam spacer inside your Misti.
These vesitile mats also work with your Simon Says Stamp glass mat as a non skid surface when stenciling and ink blending.
TIP: These are especially handy when ink blending tiny die cuts!

The new Tim Holtz Glass Studio Mats are surface options for your creative space. They have a pleasant white finish and feature measurements in both imperial and metric units. The center “0” is fantastic for finding the middle measurement of your cardstock or projects.
The large mat is 13 x 22 inches which is perfect for your larger projects. The portable travel version has a 15.75 x 10.25 inch work area and comes with a handy neoprene sleeve to protect it while on the go.
These new white work surfaces are easy on the eyes and made of tempered glass which is also scratch, and heat resistant.

This multi use ruler is so well thought out. Not only does it have a steel edge for use with rotary or precision blades, it also has non skid ridges to hold your projects in place on your work surface. It features both imperial and metric measurements that go right up to the edge of the ruler.
There are Integrated craft pick guide holes at 5mm and 0.25 inch intervals make it easy to accurately measure, mark, and cut.

TIM HOLTZ TONIC RECOIL SCISSORS

Just when you think there couldn’t be any improvements made to scissors, Tim Holtz does is again! Recoil scissors reduce hand fatigue providing effortless cutting. There are two easy-change tension springs for each pair. Find your comfort level by testing them both.
Both of these scissors have titanium-coated, double-bevelled, non serrated blades. The soft grip handles provide control and comfort for extended use. Bother scissor have a locking mechanism and protective cover to keep them closed and safe when not in use.
The 6.75″ Mini Recoil Snips are perfect for doing your fussy cutting and the longer 9.5″ scissors are great for larger projects with their long reach.
TIP: To keep your blades smooth and sharp, avoid cutting wire or metal.
