Did You Know? Fun Facts and Crafty Tips! December 2019

Hello crafters, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you! Today I have a new edition of our popular Did You Know series!
If it’s your first time seeing this feature, each month we bring you fun facts, creative tips and even crafty hacks about your favorite supplies and brands; you can then use these awesome tips that you learn in your next crafting projects! Are you ready to learn some fun tricks? Keep on reading!‘
Couture Creations Detailer Tool

Are you like me and accidentally get a spot of ink somewhere you didn’t want it? I love having an eraser on hand to clean up those little mistakes. Did you know that the battery powered Couture Creations Detailer Tool has the ability to clean up inky mistakes in even the smallest of areas?? It even comes with two different eraser tip sizes, ensuring you’ll have just the right tip for the fix!
Winter Floral background stamp and layering stencils

Our Simon exclusive Winter Floral background stamp and Winter Floral layering stencil sets have been so popular this holiday season. We specifically designed the background stamp and the layering stencils to coordinate together so that they could be used interchangeably. Stamp the background stamp with ink or emboss with embossing powder, then use the layering stencils to “color” everything in. In no time you have a festive background for your holiday cards!
Hand Crafted with Love stamps

A card (or gift) is not complete without a little custom stamping – and what better way to share the handmade love than with our Hand Crafted with Love stamp set! Have you seen it? This set has everything you need to stamp on the back of cards, tags or share care instructions with the recipient, in a custom and handmade way!
Crafters Companion Low Tack Tape

Die cutting can be a bit of a challenge if your dies keep slipping as you cut. Did you know that Crafter’s Companion has a low tack, clear tape that works great for die cutting?? Not only does the tape hold down the dies, but you can see through the tape as you work! Talk about convenient!
Featured dies include our Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels dies and Fortune Cookie dies (that coordinate with the Fortune Cookie Sayings sentiment strips).
Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust

Lawn Fawn’s gorgeous Liquid Stardust glitter is simply breathtaking! The amount of intense shimmer that this tiny bottle puts out is mind-blowing. A small drop goes a long way! Put some on a craft mat and apply with a brush for shimmery accents. You can also use this in so many other ways including as a glittery splatter for stars and snow, mix with water in a spritzer bottle for customer shimmer spray, add to paint or ink for a glittery watercolor… the possibilities are endless!
Like the card you see in this photo? I just featured it in our latest edition of Funny Friday! Check it out here.
