I’m a HUGE fan of brown tones. Dark Chocolate is one perfect brown! Not to red, not too green… just right! Finding coordinating products for this was easy,I went with rich earth tones and also found some fantastic nuetral embellishments.

I’ve put together my walk through video plus explain how I used some of the product for my card. Enjoy!

I created my card using a few circle dies as the focal point, both are from Simon Says Stamp, the larger one is from the Hexagon Pattern Die set and the smaller is from the Circle on a Line set. I loved the Take a Hike paper from Simple Stories, it was perfect for this arrangement.

I added a few embellishments to my arrangement starting with the Urban Metal badge for Lily Bee Designs, and the Wood Dots from the Just Splendid My Mind’s Eyes collection.

Putting everything together was simple using the coordinating products. :o)

  3. I love all shades (flavors) of chocolate both in the crafty world and in the candy world! This collection looks delicious!

  4. Shari, as usual, I love your card today because it is so graphic and artsy. You make everything look so simple.

  5. LOVED the Video for today!! THANKS SO MUCH for sharing!! =) Always my LUCH though, EVERYTHING I wanted was sold out!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!! Oh Well I guess I have a List for the Next SALE!! =) Have a FABULOUS Mother’s Day Weekend!! =)

  6. I don’t use brown very often, but I would like to try it more. It helps to see what specific products that it looks good with. I really liked the paper pad that had the pastels and feathers in it. Thank you for the video! It’s much appreciated!

  7. I pin these on my colour board :) I would love to see you make the card though, I always learn new things from your videos :)

  8. This is a beautiful colour. I finished a nice brown card I had and it’s been so difficult to find more. It’s a pity card is so heavy to ship. Doesn’t seem fair to the planet. I always find gold works well with brown

  9. A great collection of goodies you put together for this brown combo. I like how your card shows us to use lots of embellishments yet it isn’t too much.

  10. Wood Veneer Birds Kit. I was unable to find the exact product showcased in the Color Coordinates, I believe you said it is a Prima product.

Hi Shari your color coordinates are so helpful to me, I’m am somewhat color challenged. Like the monthly kit you all make card crafting such a pleasure. thank you.
    Regards,
    Joe-Anne
