Hi readers! Happy Thursday to you! Has the week gone particularly fast for you? It certainly has for me, but it’s been a great one! Now that the weather is getting consistently nicer in my ‘neck of the woods’, I’m finding myself in a good mood more often than not. Are you the same way?

Speaking of HAPPY… that is exactly what these two great projects from JJ Bolton using Avery Elle products made me. Check ’em out & get inspired!

Enjoy!

Today I’m sharing two more ways to use the new Avery Elle die set Custom Panels!  This first card uses the arc die to create a curved reverse cut.  The arc die has open ends, which makes it so easy to join your cuts to create something completely new!  As you can see I’ve backed the open area with some gold embossed vellum.  To get the placement of the pattern in the paper just right, I used the large A2 die in the set to cut the vellum layer.  So easy!

The second card was even easier!  I used the angled panel die to cut out a small strip from a panel stamped with the brushstroke stamps from Avery Elle’s Brushed.  The angled panel die allows you to easily customize the size of the panel to fit the width of my sentiment stamp perfectly.  I backed the cut out with a bit of metallic gold and added the panels with a bit of foam tape.  I hope you see the versatility in these dies and try them out for yourselves!
