Creative Ways to Use Patterned Paper for Christmas Cheer: Let’s Get Crafty With Caly!
Hi everyone! It’s Caly Person here today!
My project today uses products from the November 2024 Card Kit – Christmas Cheer! I’ve combined stamped images with elements from the Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane paper.
I stamped a few images from the Christmas Cheer stamp set and colored with Copic markers. I also fussy cut some poinsettias and ornaments from a sheet of Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane paper.
Reds: R32, R35, R37
Greens: G40, G43, G46
Browns: E41, E42, E43
WATCH THE VIDEO:
I used a Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool to shred the edges of the Cotton Candy cardstock and Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane paper to layer for added interest. I also used the Rainbow Splash Twinkling Stars embossing folder to emboss the patterned paper layer.
I used Stitched Circles for the focal point on this card. The smaller circle uses an image from the Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane paper also. After attaching the circular image, I wrapped the Black and White Baker’s Twine around the patterned paper layer.
To finish this card, I attached the rest of the images that I colored from the Christmas Cheer set and the images I fussy-cut from the Prima Marketing Candy Cane Lane paper. The classic images from the Christmas Cheer set coordinate beautifully with this pretty patterned paper. I hope you like you I’ve combined them and used products from this card kit to make this card!
Thanks for visiting today!
