Cathy Z. Here and today I’m sharing an elegant sympathy card that features layering stencils for creating a beautiful rose bloom. A simple bloom and greenery is appropriate for many occasions, including sympathy cards, and this stencil is a lovely way to create a card for someone you love.

Layering stencils let you create beautiful designs with ease, and I’ll also share two hacks to working with stencils in this video. Here is my tutorial to show you the process:

I stamped a simple greeting on the inside of this card using my CZ Design Inside Greetings 1 stamp set. Note: I also have designed a die set for these greetings and that will be coming to the Simon Says Stamp a bit later in the season.
