Create a Cozy Summer Birdhouse Scene! | Let’s Get Crafty with Caly!
Hi everyone! It’s Caly Person here today!
Today’s card is a tweet summer scene using products from the Friend Like You release! It features the For the Birds and Birdies Bundle and at the center, the Cozy Birdhouse.
It’s a really simple card and comes together easily! If you want to check out the video, I hope you’ll enjoy watching this come together!

Paper-piecing always makes me happy and I adore the Cozy Birdhouse. I typically die-cut with white and ink-blend to add color, but for the Birdies, I die-cut them with colored cardstock since I knew what colors I wanted to use and didn’t have to make my own with ink.
I stenciled a soft sky in the background using the Cloud Lines stencil and added branches and some stamped leaves that are colored with Copic markers. A little of everything is done on this card (stenciling, stamping, Copic-coloring, ink-blending, and paper-piecing)!
