  1. Great video. Your cards are gorgeous! I don’t have watercolor markers, but they are now on the wishlist. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

  2. Beautiful cards and great looks and ideas. So glad you shared. I love watercoloring and I need to use the ink brushes more vs. wc paint.

  3. I haven’t tried watercolor markers before but now I am intrigued! Beautiful cards! Thank you!

  4. I don’t have watercolor markers, just regular watercolors and watercolor pencils. Thanks for sharing your ideas, all your detail make a huge difference-splatters, jewels, sequins really complete the look.

  5. Thanks Jess for inspiring us with all those lovely cards–and the water coloring was gorgeous but didn’t look terribly difficult. Thanks!

  6. This couldn’t have come at a better time. I got out my watercolor markers and hated what I did with them, the video gave me some ideas. I already follow by email.

  7. Thanks for sharing these great techniques. I’ve used a few of these technique but I still learned so much watching your video. The only other technique that I’ve used is an old one that’s a variation on your plastic piece. Just adding the colors to my crafting mat, spritzing with water and then dragging the watercolor piece around it (or simply laying it on top with time to absorb. It does require something heavy to cover it until its dry to prevent warping.

  8. I always enjoy seeing how to use markers to watercolor. At present I only have the Tombow markers but with a good range of colors. Your cards are beautiful and I appreciate the tips on how to use the various markers. I think someday I will have to purchase some of the Zig markers or the Altenew markers.

  9. I tend to forget about my watercolor markers and just use my inks as watercolors or just my watercolors. I’ll have to pull my markers out and remember to use them. My favorite card is that pink floral card, so beautiful. They are all wonderful, thanks for another great video.

  10. These are such great cards … thanks Jess! I have used Zigs but not Tombows (even though I have a lot of. them!!)

  11. Love these cards! I need to take out my markers again, haven’t played with them near as much as I should.

  12. Gorgeous cards Jess, I love the idea to use shimmer in the water to watercoloour. That’s something I never thought off. I have Zig markers and used them with and without water.
Thank yuo so much for sharing an other great video in this lovely series.

  13. It was a good refresher to see all these techniques, which I knew but forget to use. I love how you finished the cards.

  14. Love the look of those cards with the watercolor through the stencil. Also the vellum butterflies on the watercolor background is absolutely lovely. Thanks for the terrific ideas.

  15. Love the refresh on techniques! Your cards are wonderful!! Really love that acetate smoosh technique!

  16. Such beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing all your tips! The vellum butterflies attached by the bodies is a great idea.

  17. A beautiful collection of cards! I have used Tombow watercolor markers before. Loved how you created that gorgeous background with them!

  18. I have a couple of brands of watercolor markers, but don’t use them much. I definitely needed this beautiful reminder of all the ways they can be used. Thank you, Jessica!
