  1. Great video. Awesome tips especially with how to use the Nuvo drops. I am a newbie so I could use all the tips I can get when it comes to embellishments.

  2. Thank you for the nice video. I picked up some new tips and ideas that I can use in future projects.

  3. Wow, great tips about embellishments. I love applying them to my cards and I have a lot of them. I do admit I love collecting them. They are the bling I love in my craft room!!

  4. Thank you for information about embellishments! These are just what I need to give my cards that finishing touch!

  5. Enjoyed your video on adding embellishments to cards, especially the Nuvo Drops. I learned to hold the bottle straight up. That’s where my mistake was. Embellishments add that special touch on cards and I always try to use them.

  6. A SUPER VIDEO, Jessica! I’ve LEARNED some things! I have been doing it wrong, all along with the Nuvo Drops! LOL THANKS for the tip! I try to get a little embellishment every time I make a purchase, whether it be sequin or jewel, or whatever! If it’s in stock, & it catches my eye, it goes in my cart! LOL PLEASE DO TELL, WHAT IMAGE is that on the gold embossed floral card, with the water coloring????? It is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! ;) ALL of your cards are GORGEOUS!!! MANY THANKFUL INKY HUGS today!!! ;) <3

  7. This is such a great series and I always learn new ideas or tricks that I have forgotten. Jessica your card samples are awesome and I especially liked the ‘blue’, at least it looked blue, (I’m watching this outside. LOL) poinsettia card that you have shown near the beginning of the video. OMG, its gorgeous! Thanks for doing the Crafty Quintet series, I always enjoy it!

  8. Thank you for all the tips and tricks! You reminded me about making drops ahead of time on a nonstick mat and letting them dry. I’ve done this before and it works well! I am one of those crafters who is sometimes worried about squirting the Nuvo drops on my finished card and not getting it right, so this make-ahead technique is perfect for me!

  9. As always, these video tips are so helpful. I have most of these product types so I truly appreciated the many suggestions and guidelines you shared. Thanks!

  10. I love all things sparkly, too! Nuvo Drops worked great when I first got them, but now I can never get a nice, round drop. May give it one more try. Love the tip about using a piece of acetate to determine placement! I love Crystal Glaze & keep a spare bottle so I never run out. Hadn’t thought to use it with glitter–thanks for the tip!

  11. Great looking cards, Jessica! Your helpful tips are terrific and I really enjoyed watching your video. I especially love the new Nuvo Drops, they add so much to a card/project. Thanks for sharing!

  12. Great tips and lovely cards! I esp liked the idea of putting a drop of my Nuvos on the cap for a swatch. I have a notecard with a sample drop from each and the name of the color, but having it on the cap will help me avoid picking each bottle up to find the one I am looking for!

  13. Thank you for this valuable video! Your cards are beautiful but the embellishments are the cherry on top!

  14. Thank you for all the tips especially for the Nuvo drops. I just added stone drops to my collection and they have an awesome texture too! Keep the helpful tips coming!!

  15. Thanks for the tips! I struggle with Nuvo Drops so will try your techniques. Love the sparkly stuff too!

  16. I really like the yellow buttercup card. I don’t use my embellishments enough…maybe that will change now.

  17. I love anything that shines, so embellishments are essential! Thanks for sharing your favorites.

  18. I always look forward to seeing these tips and techniques for making cards look amazing. Thanks for sharing Jessica.

  19. I love this series and all the wonderful information you provide. My Nuvo drops (particularly the black) has gotten so thick it no longer leaves nice drops. I’ve never used enamel dots, but think I’ll give them a try — this may be a better embellishment for me than the drops.

  20. A fun visual reminder of the difference those little embellishments make. I have them, just forget to use them. TFS!

  21. I love the Crafty Quintet videos!! I always learn something and today was no exception. Thanks, Jessica, for sharing. My Nuvo stash is growing!! LOL

  22. Jessica,

Love all your featured products and projects today!! There were 2 cards in particular that I found stunning!!!!
Thank you for the great ideas!!

  23. Thanks for the great tips–love the one with putting drops on clear plastic to see if you like it or not.
