Crafting with the Minc!

Hi readers! Happy Saturday to you! I’m pleased to welcome a new guest designer to our blog, the amazing Jennifer Evans! She has created this perfectly lovely scrapbook layout utilizing the new Minc tool and foils of her sweet young daughter. Check it out and be inspired!

The Minc by Heidi Swapp is now one of my favorite tools in my craft space! Whether I am doing a layout about my eight year old son or my almost two year old daughter, I can customize my layout for whatever I am scrapbooking!

I love that I can cut the 12×12 papers to size so that I can foil only the piece I need! On this page, I only used a piece of the floral Minc paper with Rose Gold so I can save the rest for another project. There’s no need to foil the entire 12×12!

I love adding different color foils to the ephemera, frames, and chipboard pieces in the collection! I have to layer the pieces and it all goes well. Sometimes the hardest part of playing with the Minc is knowing when to stop foiling!

Heidi Swapp’s Wanderlust stickers come with foil in the package – but any of the Minc foils work! Just remove the sticker backing and place it on your page, then remove the it from the top as well. Place the foil color side up and press lightly with your finger so you don’t scratch the foil. Then remove the foil piece and you will see your foam title sticker now shines!

I also love to write. So hidden pockets like this “a little something” bag holds a tag filled with my thoughts about this sweet girl who is growing up so fast.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my love for Heidi Swapp’s Minc Foil Applicator! It is something that I now use every time I craft!

  1. What an amazing job Jennifer did on her layout. The foil really makes the page stand out. I have seen so many gorgeous projects using the Minc. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. I’d be using it every time I craft too.

  2. Beautiful layout. I like that you didn’t go crazy and over foil it, but just used enough to make a statement. And I really like that little pocket with the tag. Great idea!

  3. Beautiful layout. I love crafting with my MINC. I also use it all the time, it is awesome, you can create great foil tags, frames all kinds of things for layouts or cards or even home décor. I have been having such fun with mine since I received it.
