Congratulations New Baby
Hi readers! TGIF! I hope you’ve had a great week! Is it just me or did this past week go very quickly? I’m pleased as always to welcome the lovely Lucy Abrams back to our blog as a guest. She made this adorable Congratulations card for new parents! For a fun twist, you could switch out the pink polka dot paper for blue if the card was for a baby boy!

Hello. Today I am sharing a new baby card that I created with a brand new Clearly Besotted stamp set called Looking Up. This set has a Father’s Day theme, but I thought the little flamingo in the set would look adorable on a new baby card too. I combined it with a cool sentiment from Simon’s Congratulations stamp set, lovely softly stripy paper from Dear Lizzy’s Fine and Dandy pad, and Lawn Fawn polka dot paper. For some sparkle and texture, I added pink sequins and a baker’s twine bow. Thanks so much for joining me, I hope you have a lovely day.

This is so adorable! I love the way the flamingo is such a perfect stand-in for the stork! :) And the ease of switching the colors for either sex. The dotted paper is just so sweet for baby!

How cute is that card ? I hope that my stamp collect grows enough to have sentiments for Welcome Baby cards like this. At the moment I am solely focusing on Birthday cards as everyday is someones birthday so Birthday cards are needed more often.
