Color Coordinates With Shari Carroll
Are you ready for a fresh Spring Color Coordinates? I’ve come up with a new combination of soft pastel colors just for you!
This Color Coordinates Recipe goes perfectly with the Wide Stripes cling stamp to create some fun backgrounds. I’ve created two backgrounds; one plaid and one simple stripes. By turning the paper in the Misti and stamping again, it’s easy to create a quick plaid.
Rather than just inking the stamp, I’ve used swiping motions to get a unique texture on both the background and the Artful Flowers. To finish off both of my cards, I’ve used the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips 2.

The pastels in the color coordinates this month are so pretty. The technique you used for the inking of the stripes and flowers gives a beautiful watercolor effect to the images. Lovely cards!
