Ahhh… warm waters and sandy beaches… the perfect summer right? Island Blue is that beachy color, a rich perfect cyan! I love pairing this up with other bright colors that pop… and of course it goes great with black! I’ve found plenty of goodies to go with it, and have a walkthrough video for you below.
I’ve used the Simple Stories DIY Boutique papers along with a few circles of Island Blue card stock to lay down some color.
Of course I lifted up a few of the circles with some foam squares, I love dimension!
Pretty clean and simple… a great card to make on the go!

This is a really pretty shade of blue. I tend to use lots of blue in my card making. Sometimes even when I start out with other colors, I end up with blue in my hand! :) This is a pretty card and would be a quick card to make with the collection of items you chose! When the colors were first released, I thought Island Blue was the most unique that I haven’t really seen in any other brands. I purchased it because it was one color I knew I needed. :)
