Carta Bella It’s A Celebration 6×6 Paper Pack
Kelly Purkey Metallic Green Sequins
Doodlebug Spring Mini Pearls
Doodlebug Key Lime Sweet Shoppe Assortment

Copic Sketch Marker Pea Green YG63

There were so many ways I could go with this green, I found a lot of product, but I had to resist all the others and bring together some basic supplies that are easy to work with.

I’ve shot a video of the walk through and also an introduction to my card, enjoy!

It seems I tend to do birthday cards with these Color Coordinates, but that’s ok, you can never have enough!

I used the Carta Bella Celebration paper with the Simon Full Card size Hourglass die to make my flags. Then I added Kelly Purkey Metalic Green Sequins and Spring Mini Pearls to create the party theme.

For my sentiment I used the Birthday Balloons stamp set from Simon with Green Leaf ink.

Have a fantastic week-end!

  1. You do such beautiful work! I am anxiously awaiting for the clock to strike noon so that I can register for the BIG SSS event. So hoping I get my tickets so that I can learn so much from you. It’s hard to concentrate on my day job today . . . .
    Thanks for your inspiration!

  2. Thanks, Shari! Have been enjoying this series, and green leaf is my fave color. Great card, love the banner. That hourglass die seems uber useful — adding it to my list.

  3. Loving the colour coordinates posts and this was super special as it featured Simple Stories collections that I have… will be perfect to match with your gorgeous ink and cardstock. All I ask is that next you bring 12″ x 12″ cardstock too for layout scrappers!

  4. I so enjoy these color coordinates on Fridays. The birthday card is great for spring. I’ve use the sentiment on the inside of my cards. Now, I see it quite appropriate for the front of the card. Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. After working in the yard yesterday and seeing the grass greening up – it was a treat to see the green on the cards as well. Great card.

  6. This is my favorite series that you do. Love the colors and the cards. When you run out of colors, start all over again, please

  7. Green Leaf is an ESSENTIAL for any and every crafty stash!!!
Love your pretty colour coordinates today and it is always great to hear how & why different products work so well together :) A Charmed Life is one of my favourite Simple Stories collections at the moment.
SUPER CUTE card – LOVE the green-on-green stamping and the banner – THANK YOU for sharing.

  8. Birthday card ideas are always appreciated, especially since I seem to need another one all the time. Love the green leaf paper and ink and all that you chose to go with it. The green is a beautiful shade and perfect for lots of different designs.

  9. Green is not a ‘go to colour’ for me but I love how you have teamed it with white in your card. Very fresh and springy. Love the pennant with the twine. Thanks for sharing

  10. I like to watch these video’s but i would like to be advised for three tones of copic markers matching the ink, so i can do also some shading with them. It is always so hard to pick the colors on-line.
