Celebrate Die-Cember™ with New Kelly Purkey Products!

We are thrilled to continue in the Die-Cember™ festivities and share a brand new release of Kelly Purkey products!  Kelly’s products are not only fun and fabulous designs, but they are the perfect fit if you are planning on documenting your 2014 in pocket-style.  You’ll find new wafer thin dies AND clear stamp sets in Kelly’s latest release.

If you are looking for inspiration for the new year, be sure to pop over to Northridge Publishing.  You can purchase Kelly’s new December Signature series E book for just $5.99.  That’s right!  $5.99 for loads of full color inspiration by Kelly.  I road tripped with my hubby last week and this book sure made that 4 hour car ride go quickly.  My head is filled with inspiration for starting off my 2014 with a creative punch!

Are you planning to document 2014?  Instead of documenting the whole year, I like to make pocket books to document trips, events, vacations and my favorite memories.  My kids and I have begun creating random “week in the life” books through the year so everyday life is still captured.  Over Thanksgiving, our whole family poured over our memory keeping books and it was a perfect reminder to me to keep savoring this journey we call life through documenting it.

We’d love to hear how you document your favorite memories through the year.  Share with us in the comments below and we will randomly choose a winner for a $25 shopping spree.  Just in time for the holidays…. :)

  1. Honestly, I haven’t done a very good job of this. Digital cameras can be a curse. All our pictures are trapped in our computer!

  2. I am an avid photo taker (not a real photographer) but need more time for scrapbooking. I have been doing mini books for the really special events.

  3. I did not commit to doing December Daily throughout the month due to lack of time & other ongoing projects. However, I love the concept & have been keeping notes & taking photos so that I can later do some sort of December / holiday mini book.

  4. I am planning on PL for 2014 but up to now it’s been pretty hit and miss. I will do the occasional daybook or scrap page.
Love the KP exclusives, especially the F-bomb set as I do drop them here and there!

  5. The new dies look divine! I love the word dies! I document all over the place still. I am working on getting everything in one place and in a PL book which I have all that I need, but I still have a pile of memories and pics to get documented! I wish I could make it an everyday thing–I have yet to be disciplined! Thanks for all your inspiration and creative product!

  6. I carry a small notebook to jot down thoughts and ideas and inspirations. I will be making some calendars of photos of the family. Oops, better get a move on…..

  7. I used to do big scrapbooks that took a year to complete. No one looks at them. So now I do mini books that I place on the coffee table and thus they get looked at all the time. It keeps it small and manageable to scrap too. I like Kelly’s new products that will be helpful in my mini books.

  8. Oh my goodness, I really don’t. I guess I half heartedly try with photos (by taking lots of photos) and well, a little bit on my calendar (I left a huge space for note taking on my home made calendars, that I intended for people to write appointments and things, I use that space to document what my grand baby does and learns). I’m really tempted by Kelly’s project life stuff, but I will prob. never get there. I have tons of photos in shoeboxes in chronological order and that’s as far as it goes. I really need a system.

  9. I don’t do a great job of documenting daily life and definitely didn’t do a good job when the kids were small. :( However, I do have some scrapbooks and tried to document the everyday little things.

  10. I use Becky Higgins’ Project Life. I take a photo a day, and then write on a journaling card about that photo. That’s it. I don’t do any embellishing. If I did, it would be stressful and I would never be caught up. I like the simplicity of it. Occasionally I will do mini albums for vacations or holidays or when I feel like I want to get creative. Thanks for the chance to win!

  11. This year I’m documenting by using Instagram with photos! (with big hopes of making these pics into an album!)

  12. These dies are wonderful. I can just picture using them for our trip to Mexico!
What I like the best is their clean cut look.

  13. I take photos, but haven’t done much with them….yet. I have purchased my first Project Life album and package of sleeves, so now it’s time to get busy!

  14. I am a novice here. But I recently made a small mini for a vacation. Love Kelly’s products. Used her stamps in my mini. These new ones look fab.

  15. i save special small trinkets like movie tickets or similar thing and then at the end of the year I put them into an album.

  16. We have an annual beach trip with extended family, a very large group. I make 4×6 calendars using photos from the trip as Christmas gifts.

  17. I am expecting my second baby in June. I plan to do a photo-a-day album for the new little one, just like I did for my firstborn. It was a wonderful way to keep up memory-keeping with very low pressure.
