Celebrate Die-Cember™ with New Kelly Purkey Products!

We are thrilled to continue in the Die-Cember™ festivities and share a brand new release of Kelly Purkey products!  Kelly’s products are not only fun and fabulous designs, but they are the perfect fit if you are planning on documenting your 2014 in pocket-style.  You’ll find new wafer thin dies AND clear stamp sets in Kelly’s latest release.

If you are looking for inspiration for the new year, be sure to pop over to Northridge Publishing.  You can purchase Kelly’s new December Signature series E book for just $5.99.  That’s right!  $5.99 for loads of full color inspiration by Kelly.  I road tripped with my hubby last week and this book sure made that 4 hour car ride go quickly.  My head is filled with inspiration for starting off my 2014 with a creative punch!

Are you planning to document 2014?  Instead of documenting the whole year, I like to make pocket books to document trips, events, vacations and my favorite memories.  My kids and I have begun creating random “week in the life” books through the year so everyday life is still captured.  Over Thanksgiving, our whole family poured over our memory keeping books and it was a perfect reminder to me to keep savoring this journey we call life through documenting it.

We’d love to hear how you document your favorite memories through the year.  Share with us in the comments below and we will randomly choose a winner for a $25 shopping spree.  Just in time for the holidays…. :)

  1. I am mostly a card maker, but I do a little scrapping for family events and happenings. Love the new KP stuff.

  2. Fun new release! I am embarassed to say that I am way behind in memory keeping…I’ve done scrapbook layouts, photo albums and smash books, but the easiest and best way for me is to do albums using the pocket pages in project life style!

  3. Love the new releases, I’m really into journaling its an easy way to document without feeling overwhelmed by a large scrapbook page. But I do love making mini albums for special occasions.

  4. I simply scrapbook all the photos I can. Often the great days have to be double page layouts. I love Kelly’s speach bubble with the symbols in it. Life has a lot of those moments.

  5. i am just beginning a huge memory book using project life as my basis – am still organizing photos from “forever” – so am glad to see so many neat dies for embellishing my book to be!

  6. Loads of good stuff here!! You never disappoint! :) I recently started doing Project Life, but we also have a jar in the kitchen where we jot down funny/cute things our kids say. I try to incorporate some of it in the scrapbooks, it helps a lot because I’m terrible about journaling.

  7. OMG!! Loving the FUN New Release and all of the AWESOME New Products!! I LOVE that she has her OWN Style and doesn’t repeat designs only just in a different style!! YOU Rock Kelly!! THAANKS for sharing and have a Fabulous Week!! ;)
I like to make little memory albums or journals of our trips and holidays or just our lives for certain months!! This way I can still document life, but I don’t have to feel like I being taken over by Albums and Albums and Albums of pages for just one event!! ;)

  8. I’ve been waiting for the 10th with baited breath and have NOT been disappointed!!! Just put in my order for the AMAZING new KP products! So excited to use them both in my pocket scrapbooking and cards! Cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!!! Woohoo it’s a KP Day!

  9. I usually scrapbook our favorite memories but have recently been card making which has taken
    up my precious scrapbooking time:-)

  10. I love doing a week in the life a few times a year. Then I make cute mini albums for each one. Would love $25 to get some of these new dies and stamps. Thanks for the chance to win!

  11. I like to do scrapbook and PL to document my memories. I have also made small memory books for relatives. I love Kelly’s style! Will definitely check her book out.

  12. I occasionally scrapbook, but recently I’ve been making mostly cards. I keep track of funny/silly/memorable moments by making notes in my phone with the plan to refer back to my “notes” when I actually make time to scrapbook! BTW- LOVE the new KP release!

  13. I take a ton of photos. I have share sites for my daughters to share photos with others, and I scrapbook the highlights.

  14. Well. I’m surprised to see another $25 gift certificate being given away when I’m still trying to finish the hop! I’m not a pocket scrapper but I sure do like some of those dies! My fave is the horseshoes – I can see using those at Derby time!

  15. Staged studio portraits certainly have their place. However, bcz that doesn’t happen very often, the way I like to “document” life is to note down daily thoughts in a notebook and then sprinkle casual photos throughout the notebook. The format is nothing like a diary or journal. The format is one-liner thoughts jotted down throughout the day if the need arises, or just one line at the start or end of the day. Sort of like a cyber-tweet w/accompanying instagram shot, only written down in a notebook. It’s interesting to see how reflective a mood the random thoughts put you in when you look back throughout the year.

  16. I am still a traditional scrapbooker. My kids and grand kids love to see what I have come up with to document our lives.

  17. Kelly’s new range looks like great fun. At the moment we keep all our pics in a box and look at them from time to time. But I have recently bought a project life kit which I haven’t started using yet. This new range would be perfect to kick start my new project life album.

  18. I’ve been scrapbooking for 15 years and I LOVE it! I love sitting down and creating art and keeping memories at the same time. It’s truly my passion.

  19. I have worked on scrapbooks to document life but find they are so cumbersome. I would like to have some of the new dies and stamps to start project life and have smaller books.

  20. ooohhh, love the twenty fourteen die! I tend to keep postcard invitations to events that I go to as well as taking pictures so I will definitely be doing a postcard book. Actually, I will probably be making a book of my sisters twins from this past year as well as documenting them throughout 2014. Thanks for sharing. Great new release.

  21. Love all the dies, however, I’m so new to this all, all my memories so far are in a ibg bo, waiting to be put in a brand new album that I’ve purchased. Now all I have to do is wait for my SSS order to arrive from overseas and I can start :).

  22. I have done scrap booking of travel we’ve done but find it takes too long and the albums take up a lot of room. Might do photo books on an annual basis. Great new products!
