Brutus Monroe: Foiled Mixed Medium Cards
Welcome, Friends! It’s Shari here with a few cards I’ve created using some fun Brutus Monroe products. I’ve been wanting to play with the Brutus Monroe Deco Foil Toner Mixables, they are A2 card fronts ready for foiling.
I foiled my card bases first, then did different treatments on them to change them up. My first card (above) has been foiled and the background is left white. It’s a bit hard to see, but I also used Brutus Monroe Alabaster Glitter Glaze through a stencil at the top of the card. This gives it a beautiful shine and texture.
My next card was Ombre ink blended after it was foiled. I also used the stencil with the Glitter Glaze. The glazed area becomes lighter where it reacts to the ink leaving a cool watermark look. I added some stenciling at the bottom for a bit of balance.
Then finally, there is my grand finale card where I did all the treatments. I love all the layers and textures. These cards were easier to make than they appear. You can see the process in my video below. Enjoy!!
