Box Card Valentine with Shari

Hellooo there everyone!! It’s Shari here with a Valentine card with a twist. Years ago I developed an easy way to create a box card… I’ve always loved it…so I thought I would dig the idea out of the archives and create a couple fun cards using Exclusive Simon Says Stamp products.

My first card uses non-traditional Valentine colors… I wanted to brighten things up by adding a splash of Yellow and Orange card stocks. All three color papers are from the Simon Rainbow pack.

I used the Tic Tac Toe Hearts Die to create a window in my box, then cut extra hearts from the same die to put inside.

To finish things off, I added the Small Love You die cut from Lipstick Red card stock for my message. Below I have a peek from the top looking down into the card.

What I love about this design is that it folds flat for mailing. Wondering how to make it? I’ve shot a video showing how to make both cards.

My next card features a bit more stamping and shows off how well the Simon Says Stamp ink matches the Simon Says Stamp card stock.

The stripes in the background were stamped using the Artful Borders Stamp set using Sea Glass ink.
