When I was making this card, I was caught in the middle of a house renovation with half of my supplies moved out and half of my supplies packed up.  It was definitely interesting to see what I was able to create using some limited supplies.  Given this situation, I would definitely say that the Big Shot, craft knife, scissors, foam tape, and a score board is a must-have!

I started out by stamping Big bear and Little bear on a piece of cardstock and did some partial die-cutting for a frame.  I then coloured them with my copic markers.  I took out my watercolour cakes and my water brush and painted a sky background on a piece of watercolour paper which I then adhered to my cardbase.  I adhered the frame with some foam tape and finished off with a simple sentiment.

It was a fun challenge to see what I could create with some limited tools and goodies.

  1. Pamela, THAT is soooo adorable. Sometimes we’d be better off if we limited ourselves to a selection of things to work with and forgot everything else for the moment. I have done this a few times and found I was happier with the outcome, plus I was quicker to think of something to do with the supplies. You did an absolutely, fabulous job.

  2. what is the trick to partial die cutting? love how you have the bears attached the bottom of the card without any glue. how do you do that??

  3. I love the bears and your sky is so beautiful! I have a lot of practicing to do to get my watercolors to look that good!

  4. Love the bears! They are adorable. My husband calls me bear, so the stamp is perfect for me! Great idea using a partial cut in a frame.
