Assembling a Card Scene

2015-06 (4)

Hi readers! Happy Saturday to you! Please join me in welcoming the fantastic Pamela Ho back to our blog as a guest designer! Isn’t this scene so adorable that she created? I think it’s fun to see cards that look like this to really show that you can get so many different looks and designs with stamp sets! Don’t you just adore the rosy cheeks on the bear?

Enjoy!

Mama Elephant’s new Bella Letters are just perfect for creating your own sentiments! I did a little birthday scene with Woodland Gifts and stamped my own sentiment.

I first cut out a piece of grass from green cardstock and stitched it in place onto the card base. I did some colouring, some partial cutting with Mr. Bear, bunny and mouse and adhered them onto the card using some foam tape. I finished the card off by stamping the music notes to make it look like the sentiment is sung by bunny and little mouse.

And there you go! A simple birthday card that’s perfect for anyone :)

  1. I really love the way bunny and mouse have their arm outstretched singing to Mr. Bear! My kids would love this card!

  2. Hi Stephanie. Those cards are just adorable. I to like to make scene cards. I watch the recipient eyes when they open a card. I watch for eye movement and how much their eyes move around the card. I am happy with this method because it tells me if I did a good job and they liked it.
    Beautiful cards.

  3. Hi me again. My last post was for Pamala. I guess I need more coffee. But still I have had a lot of fun. I am new at this. I found so much stunning art work. Thank you for the fun.

  4. Layering is an important step in making a scene. The layers in this card work great.
