Art Journaling with Shari Carroll: PinkFresh Studio
Welcome, everyone!! Happy May Day!! I’ve got a colorful art journal page for you today. It features PinkFresh Studios Floral Washi tape in a rainbow watercolor look.
The washi tape is designed to be used with a coordinating stamp and die sets, but I’ve decided to take advantage of its translucent properties to do a collage on my page.
I’ve incorporated some bold black die-cut letters and a stamped message for contrast. My journal is getting thick, so I’ve used some pretty ribbon to keep the page open.
If you’d like to see how this page is created, check out the video below. Enjoy!
I left my question on the YouTube site 10 days ago but it hasn’t been answered so I’ll try here. Love the design. I am wondering where you got the quote printed on black paper that is on the lower left side. I didn’t see anything in the supply list but I might not be looking for the right thing. Thank you.

Absolutely Gorgeous!! I love the watercoloring you did over the crackle paste!!
That washi tape is lovely and your pages were lovely, too. Thanks for showing the process you use to achieve this finished product. Wonderful!
Stunning!
