Welcome, everyone! It’s Shari here with a different style of art journaling. I’ve decided to make a tag journal to have a little more freedom using loose tags for things like sewing and embossing folders. This size is also perfect for stamps and dies that are traditionally used for card making. I’m using the Simon Says Stamp O’ Clip to hold them together.
I started out by die-cutting tags from watercolor paper. Then I used spray stains and the Mosaic embossing folder for texture. I ink-blotted the Blossom die-cut pieces with tones of blue and brown. The finishing touch was to add a title and sew around the edges.
Check out the video below to see how this was created. Remember, Art Journals can be whatever you want them to be. Express your creative style, jot down thoughts, or even use them to discover new techniques. Enjoy!!
