Hi friends! Happy Saturday! Please join me in welcoming back special guest Laura Bassen in her 2nd installment of our bi-monthly Amore Laurafadora series on our blog for May 2020! Laura’s breezy ability to make gorgeous graphic cards really knocks our socks off!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and thanks to Laura for being our guest!
Laura, I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I’ll definitely be trying the white emboss on kraft–love the look. Also wanted you to know that I laughed my way through your commentary on the scrap paper that never gets used up (how true) as well as the never ending dishes and laundry–get that dryer :). tfs-stay well.
Thanks for the card, the commentary and the chuckles! Just had a conversation with friends about the never ending laundry pile….. but you are so right…. it’s the same in the scraps drawer(s)!
Always enjoy your videos, Laura – so fun! I’ll be picturing the towels standing in the corner all day! And, of course, the card is wonderful – I’m going to try one like it today!
I’ve said I’d rather be without a washer than a dryer (probably not true — hope I’m never tested). Spoiler: I’m writing this as I wait for my dryer to “buzz.” My grandmother dried her clothes outside on a clothes line. She loved the fresh smell. I tried that once. Maybe it works if the wind is blowing 50 miles per hour, but otherwise, to use your words, I could “stand my towels in the bathroom.” I love your card and I love your videos. Hope you get that dryer soon!
You had me laughing like I haven’t in days!!! Love your card – kraft and white always looks so great and now with the color strips! Love it, love you more!
I find that 110# is too difficult to score on the scoreboard, but 80# makes too flimsy a card. What to so! And, yes, my scrap bin never gets smaller but I dig in there all the time!
Take care and, as always, thanks for the great inspiration.
Gorgeous card Laura, I love white on kraft!
Thank you so much for making me laugh during your video I saw the underwear and towels marching through your house and in my craftroom the scraps seem to grow also although I always try to use them.
Stay safe and have a wonderful week.
oh Laura!
YOU ARE A JOY AND A TREASURE!!
Love this card. Love all your cards!
Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
And thanks for all the inspiration to make
colorful cheerful cards!
Stay safe and well!

I laughed at your scrap drawer as I thought the same thing yesterday about my white scraps. Do they multiply during the night? Loved your card.
