  1. That is a wonderful card! I really like it, and now I have to go buy the stripey set of stamps! I just got the distress oxide stamps – wouldn’t that be fun to play with, with those stripes??? Thanks, Laura!

  2. What a cool card. LOVE the vibrant colors and the little angle cut out. Nicely done!
    Thanks for sharing with us!

  3. Laura, I always love your videos – partly because you make such lovely, striking, clean cards – but mostly because your personality warms my heart and lifts me up every single time I watch you work. You are an inspiration as you create inspiration! Keep being you!!!!

  4. “Hot mamaaaa!!!” I totally love it. Because of watching so many videos, my daughter has decided to name her ink pads (which are the washable kind that came with a princess stamp kit, so they don’t come with awesome names). The very first one she named was the purple– and what did she name it? Hot Mama, of course!

  5. I enjoyed this card and my 6 year old daughter said also enjoyed it a lot. …And yes, it was a long time since you sang Hot Mama.

  6. Plaids are so in right now but I just don’t have the patience to figure out which colors go together. I’ll just use already printed paper, as clever as this is.

  7. Love the colourful, clever, cheerfulness of this card design – not to mention the singing!!! Always uplifting and such a hoot! Thanks Laura.

  8. Love the colours of your card! Now I’m going to have to get brave enough to try something like – would hate to mess up towards the end of making the pattern!

  9. Laura, I always love your video tutorials…you make these stripes super fun with the directions they flow. :) I’m hooked and so glad you refrained…I do that once in a blue moon, too.
    Hugs!

  10. Oh, Laura…such a fabulous card…so beautiful. I love the colors, the resulting plaid. Just so great. Thanks so much for the fun video and the wonderful design ideas and tips.

  11. Love the simplicity as well as the slight pop up of the stripes. Just a super fun doable basic card

  12. Love your color choices. I think stopping was a good idea on this card – love the clean and simple look.
