Hello! I’m thrilled to be back as a guest on the Simon Says Stamp blog. My card today features some awesome Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp goodies!

I created the grey background using the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Spaced Heart Stencil along with some translucent embossing paste. The texture and shine that the embossing paste added is stunning!

The awesome sentiment is from the Hero Arts Bits & Pieces clear stamp set. I just trimmed the messages apart and rearranged it to fit the vertical format of my card.

Then I used the heart die from the Simon Says Stamp Surely Stitched Heart Die to create a little window to allow some yummy Doodlebug sequins to peek though.

I think this is a great card to give a loved one for any occasion — an anniversary, Valentine’s Day or any day of the week!

  1. Love this card! Have recently made my first shaker card which was sent to a fb friend interstate! Next I have to try embossing paste with stencils, and then there’s other things to try, so I’ll never be able to say I’m bored!!!

  2. Absolutely LOVE this card….and that sentiment has me wanting the stamp set….well, another thing added to my wish list! Thanks for sharing! :)

  3. Everything about this card says a simple “I love you” and with the shaker piece, it really is very charming. Love it.

  4. I am not familiar with the translucent embossing paste, so I will have to look into that product. Very cute card, and I like the idea of using it for an everyday card.

  5. Such a sweet shaker card – I am hoping to make my first shaker card in a LONG time for my granddaughter’s upcoming birthday. This card has given me some inspiration for it!

  6. OMG Your card is so stunning and ever so beautiful!! I so love the sentiment too and you sure came up with lots of clever & creative ideas for your card and ways to use all of your crafting goodies. You truly did one outstanding creative job!!! YOU ROCK!!
