A SWEET + EASY Gift Idea: Valentine Heart Pouches! Not a Card with Nina-Marie

Hello there friends, it’s Nina-Marie here with you and I have a cute gift box project to share that features new Lawn Fawn products!

These easy heart-shaped gift boxes would be perfect for filling with sweet Valentine candies to give to loved ones and friends. They are simple enough that you can make a whole bunch in no time at all!

I used the Lawn Fawn Heart Pouch die set (along with its coordinating Dotted Hearts Add-On) to make these bags; I also used the new Cutie Pie patterned paper from American Crafts.

Want to see how easy and fun these adorable bags are to make!? Watch the video below for all the details!

  1. I’m so bummed. I will try to join at 1 p.m. on Friday but I am teaching at that time….Maybe I’ll just watch the replay.

Your treat heart pouches are so pretty!

    Thanks, Nina!

    1. I am sorry you won’t be able to be there for the live. I’m a retired teacher and I feel your pain! But it’ll give you something for which you can look forward. You can stop and replay tiny parts as needed. Plus you can look joyfully to using what you need at home, with friends, relatives, and co-workers, and your students. As for me, learning should be fun once in awhile because it helps make students life-long learners. I remember having to teach to the test which kept killing the joy of learning. (And yes I admit I voted against what we called the “Leave no child untested act) instead of using the leave no child behind act. You need this fun break in your teaching just as much as the students need the break. Just make sure your projects incorporate the required learning information. And thank you for your service–from a retired teacher to a teacher.
