25 Days of Christmas Tags Event with Shari Carroll
Hi everyone! Welcome to November!!!! It’s Shari here with a special tag as part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event on the In My Creative Opinion Blog. I was inspired by all the amazing Tim Holtz products from his Christmas 2017 collection.
I started out with Tim’s Distress tags and Christmas Stash 8×8 papers. I’ve covered the tag using some one of my favorite papers from the collection and Collage Medium.
I stenciled some the Pines onto the background with Potting Soil Archival ink, then re-stenciled with Transparent Texture Paste and gave it a dash of Rock Candy Glitter for some winter sparkle!!
These adorable Christmas Paper Dolls are the focus of this tag and I’ve put together 3 children dressed ready for the winter holiday!

Oh my I love the vintage tag! Just started making a Tim Holtz mini album and your tag inspires me, love it! I just found a box of old photo’s of my mother as a child, & your tag inspires me, I’m going to incorporate my mothers photo’s in my project now. So glad I stumbled upon this blog!

Tim has a style all his own. I honestly am not a big fan of it, but his brilliance cannot be denied (designing amazing inks, mediums and tools to make crafting easier and funner… hmmm… funner… riiight…
I’m liking certain elements of this release however which is more than the norm for me with his stuff so it must be good! Lol. Happy Wednesday all!

Shari’s vintage tag is beautiful! Whenever I see vintage photos like this, I always wonder about the people, if they are still alive, if they have descendents, the story behind the photo, etc. There’s always a story! Shari definitely did them justice!
