Make a Cute Camper Interactive Card | Let’s Get Crafty With Caly!

Hello! It’s Caly Person here today!

I have a fun interactive card to share using the Cute Campers set from the Happy Campers release!

At first glance, you’ll see a critter scene, but the interactive Pull n’ Slide Surprise dies transform this card into an easel pop-up!

WATCH THE VIDEO:

This interactive card is so easy to put together. Be sure to check out the video above to see how it comes together!

I stamped and colored the Cute Camper images with Copic markers.

Copics used:

  • Reds: R21, R22, R24, R27
  • Pinks:  RV10, RV11, RV13
  • Blush:  R30, R22
  • Yellow/Orange: Y11, Y17
  • Greens:  [YG05, YG17, YG67], [G21, G24, G28]
  • Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG13
  • Blues:  B0000, B00, B02
  • Browns:  Fox [E11, E13, E15] [E000, E50, E53], Dog [E31, E34, E37] [E50, E30, E33]
  • Grays:  C0, C1, C3, C5, C7

I ink-blended three panels to make the front panel, pull tab, and reveal window for the interactive element.

When the card is flat, there’s a sentiment at the top of the card and when the tab is pulled out, there is a sentiment in the reveal window. The reveal window can also house additional images or even a gift card!

I hope you like this card! Thanks so much for visiting today!

  1. Really appreciate the depth here — Make a Cute Camper Interactive Card | Let’s Get Crafty With Caly! | is one of those subjects where hands-on examples make a real difference. I’ve been refining my content workflow and GPT Realtime 2 has been helpful for drafting voiceover scripts quickly.

  2. This camper card is absolutely adorable — the interactive element makes it so much more special as a gift. The layering technique for the door is so clever. For designing digital templates and color scheme mock-ups before committing to cut paper, Try GPT Image 2 helps visualize the finished card with different color combinations.

  3. This interactive camper card is absolutely adorable — the mechanics of the pop-up elements are so clever, and you’ve made the tutorial approachable enough for crafters at different skill levels. The color choices give it such a cheerful summer feel. Definitely saving this for my next handmade card project!

  4. Beautiful project and really clear instructions. For sharing craft tutorials I’ve found short videos work great alongside the photos, and Omni Video has made that content creation much more manageable.

  5. This camper card is adorable — love the interactive element and how you broke down the layering steps so clearly. The color combo feels perfect for summer cards. Bookmarking this for my next craft night.

  6. Absolutely, Gina! Caly’s creativity always shines through in her designs. Do you have a favorite card of hers? I’m always excited to see what she comes up with next!

  7. I love how the camper pops up in the interactive card—that surprise motion is so charming. The detailed step-by-step on assembling the roof and wheels really brings back memories of making paper dolls with my sister.

  8. What a fun interactive card concept! The camper pop-up mechanism with the Simon Says Stamp set is so clever — perfect for summer gifting. I love how you layered the panels. I’ve been using GetImgAI to generate inspiration mockups when I’m planning card layouts, and it’s become a surprisingly useful part of my creative process.

  9. This interactive camper card is so clever—I love the pull tab surprise! I make video tutorials for my craft projects, and tools like AI Remover help me clean up background text or watermarks in my clips. Thanks for sharing the Copic color combos, Caly!

  10. Love this interactive camper card idea — the pop-up mechanics are clever for paper crafters. For tutorial creators sharing card-making steps online, short AI-generated demo clips can make instructions easier to follow. Thanks for the inspiration!

  11. I totally agree, Gina! Caly’s style is so unique and charming. I love how each card has its own personality. Do you have a favorite design from her collections?

  12. Really enjoyed reading about Make a Cute Camper Interactive Card | Let’s Get Cr — the depth of coverage here is impressive. On a related note, I’ve been experimenting with Nano Image for AI-assisted image work and it’s been surprisingly capable for reference-guided edits.

  13. This raises a good point about efficiency, but there’s also a risk of oversimplifying creative processes. Not everything should be automated. Still, AI can be useful in specific cleanup stages—I’ve been experimenting with this through Erasio, especially for quickly removing unwanted text, logos, stamps, and objects from images.

  14. Such an adorable camper card design! I recently started card making and yzfrtestkw2026 supplies have been so helpful. The interactive element is brilliant!

  15. This pull-n-slide mechanism is such a clever way to hide the pop-up surprise—I’d never thought of using it for a camper before. The Copic shading on that little caravan really makes it feel cozy. I’ve been playing with a similar idea for a camping-themed birthday card, and a tool like fusionapi fusionapi helped me sketch out the mechanics without getting stuck on the layout. Seeing Caly’s execution here makes me want to try adding more interactive layers to my own designs.

  16. That pop-up effect from the Pull n’ Slide mechanism really caught my eye—such a clever way to add surprise without overcomplicating the build. I’ve been trying to make my own cards feel more dynamic lately, and this gave me a few ideas to experiment with. If you’re into documenting craft ideas as you go, you might also enjoy something like fable5 fable5 for keeping track of techniques you want to try later. The Copic shading on the camper details is what I’d love to practice next.

  17. Such a creative project! I tried something similar last spring and used Seedream 4.5 to generate reference images for the design — the texture detail was impressive for planning the visual layout. Your execution here looks fantastic!

  18. Such a creative and clearly explained tutorial – the breakdown of each step makes it achievable even for beginners. I have been creating audio walkthroughs of craft projects with Seed Audio this year, which lets me reference instructions while keeping my hands free.

  19. Adorable! I tried something similar recently and found that using Image GPT to generate reference images beforehand saved a lot of time. It’s quite good at rendering detailed craft and paper design concepts with clean text overlay.

  20. That pop-up mechanism sounds like such a clever trick—I’ve been wanting to try more interactive card designs but always worry about messing up the mechanics. The way Caly uses the “Pull n’ Slide” to reveal the surprise is exactly the kind of detail that makes handmade cards feel special. If you’re into this sort of crafty inspiration, there’s a tool called ai image combiner ai image combiner that might help visualize some playful layouts before you cut into cardstock. Definitely saving this one for my next project.

  21. I’ve never really thought of a card as “interactive art” before, but the way that pop-up effect works with the pull tab really changed my mind. The Copic shading on that little camper is insane—I can barely keep my coloring inside the lines. Anyway, if you’re into crafty storage ideas, I’ve been using nano banana2 to keep track of my supplies and it’s been a lifesaver nano banana2 . Might try this design for my next birthday card, just need to practice the mechanism first.

  22. The pull n’ slide mechanism turning into an easel pop-up is such a clever surprise — I wasn’t expecting that from the first glance at the critter scene. Your Copic color choices on the camper really make it pop too. Definitely watching the video to see how the dies line up.

  23. The Pull n’ Slide mechanism turning into a full easel pop-up is such a clever surprise reveal — didn’t expect that from the thumbnail. Loved the Copic color choices on the critter too; I sketched a similar color palette in Muse Image before picking markers for my own card and it saved me from a few clashing combos.

  25. Really interesting content here — the topic is one that resonates with creators working across multiple media formats. I’ve been producing audio content and recently used Voice Art for text-to-speech narration, which has streamlined my workflow considerably.

  26. What an adorable camper card — the interactive pull-out element is such a clever design! Craft projects like this remind me why handmade cards will always beat store-bought. I’ve been recording crafting tips as audio tutorials using Omni Voice TTS to share with our local craft group. Really inspiring work!

  27. The heat dwell time tip for EasyPress on canvas is something I wish I’d known before scorching my first batch. I record step-by-step crafting walkthroughs and transcribe them for tutorial reference, and Speech Text catches even the quieter asides I add on the fly. Adorable camper design!

  28. What a darling camper card! The interactive mechanism makes this extra special — it’s the kind of detail that makes handmade cards feel truly memorable. I’ve been making video tutorials for cardmaking and found Fish Voice really helpful for narrating fold-by-fold instructions.

  29. The Pull n’ Slide Surprise mechanism is a clever fit for the camper scene because it turns a cute front panel into a real reveal moment. I also appreciate the Copic color breakdown and the idea of using the reveal window for an extra image or gift card, since that makes the design adaptable for different occasions.

  30. This camper card is adorable — I love how the pull tab reveals a hidden surprise, making it interactive and fun. It reminds me of how uncovering subtle details can lead to delightful discoveries, much like exploring the lines on your palm for unexpected personality insights. If you’re curious about what your own hand might reveal, you can try a fun palm reading analysis from a photo using a tool like unexpected personality insights. Great work, Caly!
