Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to

Spread Your Wings 

and fly! you could interpret this as looking for new adventures or use something with wings on your project. Whatever you decide to make we will be looking forward to seeing your project!

Autumn is soaring on the wings of love with this Valentine home decor project featuring Tim Holtz’s new Mini Detailed Butterfly die, the Mixed Media Christmas harlequin background die, and an Arrow Adornment.

Andrea drew a courageous-looking girl who’s ready to spread her wings.  She used watercolor cakes, Impression Obsession’s She Was Tired sentiment stamp and Tim Holtz’s Latticework stencil.

Anna-Karin made a scrapbooking layout this week, about art giving us wings. She used the Butterfly Journeys stencil by StencilGirl, as well as various patterned papers, such as by Graphic 45.

Barbara has created a panel with Evolution set by Tim Holtz and a lot of butterflies cutted with Butterfly Frenzy  Decorative Strip die.  For the background she used  Distress sprays Fossilized Amber, Weathered wood and Evergreen bough.

Cathie created a steampunk style mixed media piece using Tim Holtz Mini Sewing Room, Layered Butterfly and Gearhead dies and used Prima Rust Effect Paste for the rusty metal effects.

Emma was inspired by the message on one of Tim Holtz’s Small Talk Stickers, “Use Your Wings” and created an altered frame to showcase the beautiful Feathered Wings die entwined together with Dimensional Stars and hearts from the Heartfelt Die set!

Kath created an Art Journal page with lots of texture for her trio of Butterflies, using Prima 3D Gel Medium, Mini Art StonesDina Wakely Media Tape and Distress Crayons

Lols made a birthday card using a Tim Holtz Mini Bird Crazy and Things Stamp and Die Set  Aren’t they adorable in their sparkly hats all ready to party!!

Macarena was going around in circles enjoying her new Oil Pastel Crayons set by Prima and made this colorful Art Journal pages using a stamping on tissue paper technique.

Maura headed to her art journal to spread her wings playing with color, Tim Holtz’s Dragonfly Bigz die and Darkroom Door’s Happy Quote.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag with die cut butterflies using Sizzix Butterflies Die on Corrugate paper from Tim Holtz Textured Surfaces.

    1. Hi, the winner is posted during the weekend after the challenge has finished. this gives the DT some time to look for the designer spotlights :-)
