Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Celebrate Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

Try To Contain Yourself

There are so many possibilities for this theme, you could recycle a container, cup, tin, bottle, box etc, add a container to your project or make a container from scratch! Whatever you decide to make we will be looking forward to seeing what you use!

 Christine recycled a biscuit container and made a cute string box using IndigoBlu KibbleKits and Kevin’s Gang Stamp Sets.

Andrea converted a can into a pen holder using Seth Apter’s Maze embossing folder, and Tim Holtz’s Worn Text stamps and  Label Letters.

Anna-Karin loves little boxes and made a hinged box from Tim Holtz Vignette Boxes and Panels. It was embellished with a Sophisticated Cabinet Card. Inside the box hides a secret which will be filled with history.

Barbara has created a very grunge Artist Trading Block with the stamp sets  Sideshow and Evolution  by  Tim Holtz,  Distress Crayons and Ice Resin for the top of her box!

Cathie altered a wooden box using Broken China, Evergreen Bough and Antiqued Bronze Distress Paints and several Paper Artsy Stamps to create a container for some of her favorite stamp sets.

Cheiron used all 4 sizes of the Tim Holtz Vignette Boxes to create her magic themed creation along with papers from the Dapper Paper Stash.

Emma was inspired by a quote from Claude Monet to create an art garden using a Tim Holtz Vignette Box and combining it with beautiful papers from the Wallflower Paper Stash.

Kath created a mini indoor container garden using a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Vignette Box with lots of Tim Holtz/Sizzix layered Thinlits die cuts

Lols made a File Box using a Silhouette Cameo Digital Die Cut Machine and filled it with Christmas cards, which is a great gift idea!

Macarena put some layered Flower Garden into a Glass Bottle using Infusions and Distress Stains.

Maura took a simple Alvin mesh bag and transformed it into a fun and crazy bag with Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs and Mini Cats and Dogs

Meihsia was inspired to make a tag with a stenciled background using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil, and decorated with two Tiny Bottles.

Sandra is starting to get in the mood for Halloween and made an old scary looking coffin treats box using Memory Box Haunted Webs and Bunch of Bats dies.IMG_5548

  1. Wonderful theme and creations by the DT. If I understand the theme correctly the entry needs to be 3D container or have a container on it like the bottles on the Tag. I have used the Tim Holtz Matchbox die with a Nautical theme. Have a Bee-utiful day from Central TX!
